When Rainbow Dash finds herself lost in a new and unfamiliar village, she reaches out to a certain lavender-hued stranger for help. But to Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash is no stranger; at least until she notice her strange new voice, a lack of wings, and a fondness of the word ‘darling’. Intrigued by the uncanny looks to one of her best friends, she decides to lend the newcomer a helping hoof, but things go from weird to weirder when Pinkie Pie happily announces that she too has met her lookalike. Twilight Sparkle and her friends take it upon themselves to find out the truth behind this mystery: who are these doppelgangers? Could there really be another Ponyville out there? And what does it all have to do with Discord’s lost legacy?

Many ponies believe that the tale of the Windigo and the Fire of Friendship ends with the creation of Equestria, but their importance goes far beyond that.
And so is the story of the creation of Celestia, Luna and Discord.

It was an ordinary day for Twilight Sparkle: Magical study, talking with friends, reading a light novel, the usual routine.

But, when something dreadful begins happening to the ponies in a specific region of Ponyville, it was only going to be a matter of time until it spread to the rest of the village; and cause an unavoidable disaster.

Can the studious pony put together the signs and find out what is happening to everypony before it's too late?

A bizarre incident involving an exploding pig at the Carousel Boutique leaves Rarity in shock and unable to work. Twilight keeps her nice and comfy at the library, but Rarity still has duties to fulfill. Somepony will have to take her place for a few days. Shenanigans ensue.

Good morrow, fellow FIM fictionwriters! This be my first pony-oriented fiction, so I sincerely hope you enjoy it. :D I've been a fan of FIM since July 2011, and I love a good bit of creative writing (and reading :P) - but only recently did I think that I needed to write a little something about our favorite pint-sized equines.
