Calm Wind

We writers do not speak. We do not hear. We have no songs. We have no pictures. We only have scripture. From words we bring images. From words we bring emotion. From words we bring life.

Fleetfoot has always wanted to know Calm Wind better, the only problem is the big stallion is incredibly shy and nervous around mares (seemingly more so around her specifically). Her past attempts to get his attention were mostly goofy or suggestive, so this time she decides to take a more direct and gentle approach. To her surprise... it works quite well.

(takes place in calm's wonderverse)

This story goes between calm and fleetfoot's POV.

Luna has been acting... off. That is to say, even more off than normal. Most respectable ponies would consider this sort of behavior the harbinger of another magical civil war!

As a monarch and loving sister, Celestia takes it upon herself to investigate.

After taking her first bath in a thousand years, Luna discovers that her cutie mark has been a horrible lie. It turns out she isn't Princess of the Moon after all. In fact, she's actually Princess of Uranus.

Is Uranus ready for this?

Probably not.

Big ups to Masked Ferret for prereading.

"An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means its going to launch you into something great. Just focus, and keep aiming."

For Snapshot, life has ground to a halt ever since two years ago. The last Equestria Games nearly ended in tragedy because of a stray arrow in the Ice Archery event. Why in Equestria did his shot go astray? Seasoned athletes don’t make mistakes like that without a good reason…

I want to give special thanks to my prereaders Jack of a Few Trades, Quillamore, and Piquo Pie. This story wouldn't be nearly as good if you guys didn't help me out.

FamousLastWords helped out too by prereading.

In the last Sisterhooves Social, Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash won in a landslide. Now she won’t stop talking about how Rainbow is the coolest sibling in Equestria. But that’s just not true, Thunderlane’s the best sibling ever! After being indirectly challenged by Scootaloo to prove it, Rumble comes up with the best idea in his life. He and Thunderlane will win the Sisterhooves Social, he just needs to talk Thunderlane into wearing a dress.

Many thanks to the amazing Noble Savage for his great cover art. You did perfectly for this one :rainbowlaugh:

Turns out that I managed to predict the episode Brotherhooves Social a month and a half in advance! What a crazy coincidence. I guess great minds think alike. Though greater minds did said episode better than this story :rainbowlaugh: Either way, I'm still pretty happy with myself for coming up with such a premise.

This story is a sequel to Piercing the Heavens

Takes place in Pierce the Heavens after the events of Chapter 99.

Generally I thought up a character and put him in the story.

A Wonderbolt with a shady past comes to grips when these worlds collide.

Mentions of violence and boning.

Takes place in Calm Wind's Wonderverse

Blaze; the overconfident and vulgar-mouthed fire handler of Squad Two.

Spitfire; the serious and duty-bound captain of the Wonderbolts, as well as the lead squad.

One day Blaze decides to disguise herself as her older half-sister, Spitfire. It was only meant to be a harmless prank, nothing more. But what happens when she takes it a bit too far, just for the fun of it?

Rated 'T' for swearing

This story takes place in Calm Wind's Wonderverse, between Act 2 and Act 3 of Piercing the Heavens, though hopefully it's understandable on its own.

"The impossible happened... Rivet started making mistakes.”
“Doesn’t everypony make mistakes?”
"Even if ‘everypony makes mistakes’ was a legitimate excuse, most ponies mistakes don’t almost injure ponies, and definitely don’t almost kill ponies.”

Rivet is, before anything else, a genius. A master of machines and the lead engineer for the Wonderbolts, he's the first pony you go to for all problems mechanical, from inventing new training equipment to rapid repairs. It isn't much exaggeration to say he's one of the rivets holding their base together.
They leaned on him so much, it seemed only natural that he start to buckle under pressure. The machines he designed to get the Wonderbolt recruits up to speed have started to malfunction, and ponies have narrowly avoided getting hurt. Now he's under probation, forced to take a break from his work.
No one is listening to what he's saying.
No one is seeing that a saboteur is on the loose.
With both his job and the well being of the Wonderbolts on the line, he calls the only person he can rely on to solve the case. He calls his old friend and rival, ex-detective Keen Eye.

Taking a break from trying to fix the compound and figuring out the flight controls, Lucky suggests something to Rivet that might at least restore power...

Non-canon story to Piercing the Heavens by Calm Wind.
This also includes the back story I came up with for my OC, Lucky.

A class trip by Graceful Learning's class of school foals to the Canterlot Castle has not been very interesting. Educational, yes, but very boring. That changes when they visit the Royal Library, and the foals run into Princess Luna, who asks the young foals if they'd like to hear her favorite story.

Written as a one-shot, side piece in Calm Wind's Wonderverse.
