The night after they defeated Nightmare Moon and rescued Princess Luna, Rainbow Dash finds Twilight on a hilltop outside Ponyville, staring up at Canterlot. Afterwards, the two find themselves returning to that same hilltop night after night, discussing their crazy adventures, and the things they've never shared with anypony else.

In the weeks following the coronation of Equestria's new princess, Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are both troubled by regret. In the face of changes they can never reverse and actions they can never take back, they search for solace in solitude, but instead find each other in the small hours of the morning.

After becoming an alicorn princess, Twilight Sparkle needs to get used to having wings and learn how to fly. Fortunately, she's got the two best fliers in Ponyville to teach her!

King Dargamis is sending in more changelings to take over Equestria, but this time with a different plan in mind then what his silly Queen came up with. Shining Armor, Cadance, and Twilight Sparkle join together once again to try and take on the changeling army. Whilst doing so, Shining Armor ventures into the changeling's lands and discovers more about their past. Cadance and Twilight are assisted by Celestia and Luna's knights to help protect Equestria until Shining Armor has found their weakness. Only time will tell how our young adventurers will survive.

One night, an amazing display lit up the sky over Ponyville. A comet, brighter than any in living memory, was making its way through the sea of stars. The residents of the town gathered en masse to witness the spectacle. As was the tradition for such an occasion, many ponies made a wish on the celestial body, hoping that maybe, just maybe, some of them might come true...

It's the eve of the 992nd Annual Prom, and Crimson Brass is nervous about asking his very special somepony to the prom. He finally gathers enough courage to ask Twilight Sparkle out, and is excited that the mare agreed. But another unicorn seems adamant in ruining what Crimson thought was going to be the best night of his life.

Fluttershy is having a tough summer day. She knew, of course, that there wasn't a chance for anything between her and Rainbow, but having her hopes dashed by an off-hoof comment before she even dared voice them...

...is exactly the kind of stupid mistake Dash makes. Act first, think later is all well and good when she's only looking out for herself, but it's precisely the reason why she shouldn't date her best friend. After all, Fluttershy is a gentle soul, considerate, easily offended...

...and not as weak as she seems. She'll do anything to prove it, to be worthy of Rainbow's attentions, to become...

...the one pony Dash might just trust her heart with this whole "romance" thing. Because she has no idea what's going on, or even if she's got those kind of feelings. After all, Fluttershy wouldn't hurt a fly and they...

...no matter what happens, she and Rainbow...

will always be friends.
