Princess Celestia has had feelings for her faithful student for some time that go beyond a scholastic admiration. Imagine her sorrowful surprise when she receives a letter from Twilight detailing her foray into the world of romantic relationships, one that takes a sharp down-turn for the worse. It's up to Twilight's long-time mentor and friend to repair the anguish brought upon by a careless and, for all intents and purposes, faceless colt, who was too daft to appreciate somepony the princess would give anything to be with.

(Though tagged "sad", it's not that much. It's certainly a little sarcastic at times, though I wouldn't call it "comedy" per say.)

It was just supposed to be a little game, part of the very first slumber party held in Twilight's new castle. Neither Twilight nor her friends expected to learn life-changing things about each other. And none of them could have anticipated who among them had the most experience when it came to sex...

Octavia is deeply saddened that her roommate disregards everything that she does, Vinyl was supposed to be her friend...right? Octavia believes quite the opposite of how Vinyl really feels. She actually cares more than she thinks. When Vinyl promised to come to her concert, and ends up at a party instead, Octavia has had it. Will she go to the extremes of kicking her out?

Octavia Melody and Vinyl Scratch have been best friends and eventually love interests for as long as anyone could remember, nothing could keep them apart. They had made plans together and were going to get married, surrounded by family and friends.

That was 6 months ago.

Vinyl now sits in a hospital bed. Her end slowly drawing closer with her lover sitting beside her, only one thing going through the Disc Jockeys head.

"Christ I need a drink."

One-shot OctaScratch Humanised Don't like the sound of that, you know where the door is.

I was planning to do this for her birthday but I probably would've forgot by that time. I guess it can be a gift for being the awesome friend she is. Then it got turned into a One Year FimFic Anniversary story. Still good though, right? Think of it as a gift for everyone, especially her.

To the beautiful Miss Spectrum, thank you for just being the person you are today. Can't imagine what my life would be like without you.

And to everyone else that has ever had to sit through my ramblings. You are all awesome.

Vinyl Scratch, better known as DJ Pon-3, and Octavia have lived with each their whole lives.

They don't act like roommates. If they were, I'm pretty sure their house wouldn't be split. So what's going on?

Vinyl and Octavia weren't around while the Tantabus was ripping holes into the real world, so where were they? What were they doing?

Vinyl and Octavia meet for the first time at their new music school and have to share a room. At first they don't like each other, but soon they find their similarities.

This is like the usual Vinyl+Octavia Fic with some stylistic devices.

Vinyl Scratch is not a thoughtful pony by nature. Rather, she is boisterous, obnoxious, and rude. In the past couple months of her and Octavia's relationship, Vinyl's manners have doubled, and her smiles have increased tenfold. And then, in one moment, almost faster than the blink of an eye, it all comes crashing down around her head. Vinyl is reduced to a sniveling, drinking mess, and she decides that now is the time to do something about it.

My first story on the site! Yeah, I know, you have all probably read something like this note many-a-time... so leave some thoughts, criticism and advice, and I'll try to get the rest of this up as fast as I can!

(OctyScratch ship, pretty basic, but with a touch of flair that makes the distinction. Enjoy!)

Octavia, a cellist more interested in high society and class than friendship, and Vinyl Scratch, a socially handicapped pony with anxiety issues, must have seriously pissed some gods off in their past lives. They exist to have lives of bipolarity, living through a constant series of ups and downs. They keep each other going. That is, until the forces that be take it a little too far. Would either of them ever be able to cope without the other? They say having loved and lost is better than never having loved at all, but is that really true?

Narrated omnisciently, but with a focus on Vinyl Scratch, as she is who the story is technically about. Both characters have equal screen time, I'd say.

Octavia is stressed, her day was not exactly the best. She just needed to lie down and have some snuggles while somepony to hear her. Good thing Vinyl was there.

Octascratch cuteness 'cause I wanted and because it's simply cute (duh). And ya' know you love it!
