Spike had never thought he would meet his birth parents, he had been with Twilight for quite sometime now and he was starting to lose hope that he'd ever meet them. But when he goes to the Dragon Lands to see the Migration, he not only meets a kind dragon who helps him through the place, but he also helps find someone he never thought would get to meet..

Shortly after leaving the Crystal Empire castle to live a more humble and ordinary life among their subjects, Princess Cadence and Shining Armor decide to have a foal. Instead, they get two, and they couldn't be happier. They tried.

Skyla is a normal, if very hungry, alicorn filly. Her sister Inova is a reborn human, though nopony knows that, not even herself.

This is a substantial rewrite of the original story, with some new scenes, better writing, and a few things removed as well. Chapters will be released when they're good and ready, instead of evil and unprepared.

“After a thousand years, it’s now considered “poor form” to be weary of one’s enemies? How embarrassing that we should placate these Griffons. We fought wars against them did we not? Does nopony remember that? Fields above, this country had fallen to the dogs!” ~ Princess Luna.

Princess Celestia is in trouble. Her little sister has returned, and with that she has brought her antiquated views of a thousand years long past along with her. Whilst some of them are excusable, some things have to change, like her blatant hatred for a certain avian species. Especially after her diplomatic mission which has gone so poorly that it threatens war in the best-case scenario. 

With the help of her Public Relations advisor, the daughter of a famous clown, and the unwanted assistance of the Prince of Chaos, the royal family must do something utterly drastic in order to save Equestria. 

All of their fates rest on an out-of-touch Alicorn of the moon and a young hatchling Lioness fresh out of the egg, with a propensity to maul faces at the drop of the hat… It does not look good.

Gallus and Silverstream have settled into newly wed life, and couldn't be happier living in Equestria together. That is, until they learn of some truly shocking news: Queen Novo has died!

With her cousin Skystar due to ascend to the throne, Silverstream immediately begins making plans to return to Mount Aris to be there for her grieving cousin. Not wanting to let his wife go alone, Gallus pleads with Princess Twilight to be allowed to accompany Silverstream back home.

When Princess Twilight gives her blessings, Gallus prepares to return to a place he has little familiarity with. But nothing will stop him from being there for his wife, as she and her extended family join all of Mount Aris and Seaquestria in mourning the passing of their queen.

After rescuing Princess Flurry Heart from a frigid limbo with the help of the Crystal Heart, Sunny wonders where to go from here with the first alicorn Equestria has seen in centuries.
