Sandwiched between Pinkie Pie and Rarity to ensure she doesn't try to escape, Twilight is forced on the next train to Canterlot. When she arrives, it takes a bit more than mere liquid courage to elicit her confession.

Browsing back through, years after my last story, I discovered I had never published this one! So, here's a thing.

This story is a sequel to Minding the Gap

Life takes its course, and after telling the world of their relationship, it was only natural for them to take the next step. Now they find themselves married, with a lot of new things to worry about, not the least of which are their children.

This story was a challenge to myself to write in a different way from how I would usually approach a story, and as such it will not be written in chronological order. It will, however, be rearranged into chronological order once it is complete.

Twilight has fallen, an ancient enemy taken with her, and Celestia is left trying to understand why she feels so lost without her.

On the most important day of Princess Celestia and Twilight Sparkle's lives, Princess Luna finds herself as busy as ever making sure all of the arrangements go according to plan. The last thing she needs to worry about is one of the brides having second thoughts about the decision looming around the corner. After some words of guidance from the princess of the night, the mare in question knows what she needs to do. But will she be able to walk down the aisle if her hooves are still too cold?
Written as a (late) birthday present for the lovely and talented artist bri-sta, who is also the artist of the image I'm using as a cover, since it's what I used as inspiration for this little story.

All Celestia wanted was to have a nice date with Twilight. Too bad Luna can't help but join them.
