On the day of Hearts and Hooves Day, the husbands prepare to organize a romantic night for their wives and then planning to spend time together for the weekend. In the middle of a talk about love lives, Rarity feels insubstantial that all her friends have found their very special someponies, but her. Even when she seems to be more interested in courting than them.

But then Rarity starts to think if she’s even destined to have a Prince Charming.

Fluttershy had read every book there was on motherhood. She read every pamphlet and brochure she could get her hooves on. She was ready... or so she thought.

Neither she nor Spike could have ever prepared for the curveball life decided to throw them and they looked everywhere for help in figuring out what to do.

Spike receives an invitation in the mail for the first annual dragon festival, an event that he has been corresponding with Ember about for some time. As he prepares to travel with her to the dragon lands, Ember asks Twilight to join in on the event as well. Furthermore, as Ember and Spike begin their trip they happen upon a new dragon who says that he, like Spike, was born and raised outside the dragon lands.

The current Dragon Lord, has passed away. With him, the love, hope and care that he had given to the remaining population of Dragons. As it stands, Dragons are near extinction and with the greatest of them buried, it is now up to his son to replace him.
But does he have what it takes to be Dragon Lord, or will he fail and doom his race to extinction? What will his choice be?
