I've had my fair share of critics in my line of work. It's understandable—someone with the power to invoke fear in those he touches? Yeah, that's someone I want to watch over me and my children.

But that's what I am now; a Metahuman Agent, using this and the other 'perks' of my unique condition to help my team in taking down the baddie of the day. Of course, it was while taking down the baddie of the day that I fell victim to his malfunctioning machine; a Rift that tossed me, randomly, to a head-scratchingly insane world of magical, talking ponies...

All I can do now is wait, pray I can get home, and try to show them I'm not the monster I appear to be.

(Dread's homeworld is based somewhat on the Little Victory comics by jollyjack; an Earth where metahumans are enlisted and trained by the government to defend the populace from threats, big and small.)

Magic, the most forbidden art. Only nobles are allowed to learn from the great wizards and witches, and only from special schools set up by the state. For commoners, learning the mystic arts is nothing but a dream, a fantasy that many strive for but none achieve.

With one exception: Stalliongrad. The great, northern city boasted more magic schools than any other, and among them, the only one that accepts low born ponies. It's a dangerous trek to get there, and even more dangerous to simply stay in the frozen city.

Twilight Sparkle, however, will not be stopped. Destined to become the archmage, destined to sit at Princess Luna's side, she will not be stopped.

After all, Archmage Twilight Sparkle has a nice ring to it.

For as long as anypony can remember, an area of land has been cut off from the rest of the world due to an eternal storm that has never shown any mercy. But now the storm has weakened and an envoy from that land has come to Equestria seeking a Queen for their land. A Queen for their kingdom of thestrals.

The Fire of Friendship has all but faded. One thousand years ago, Equestria fractured... those who disagreed with Celestia's rule left under the leadership of Princess Luna to found their own nation, their own way of life. Seventy years later, Celestia and Luna both disappeared during the first war, leaving the battered nations leaderless in their absence.

Over the last nine hundred years wars have frequently waged between Equestria and Lunaria, each seeking to unite ponykind under their own ideals. Equestria's mastery of magic often gave it the edge in battle, but never enough for a decisive victory. Peace reigns for now, but recent developments in Lunaria signal a shift in the balance between the two divided nations...

It has been nearly a thousand years since Twilight Sparkle died. Celestia and Luna are gone. The Holy Equestrian Diarchy, ruled by a bigoted and brutal theocracy, has driven ponies apart and divided them along tribal lines. Unicorns are driven from society, feared and hated.

The lessons of friendship, painstakingly written down in the journal of friendship by Princess Twilight and her friends, have been warped and twisted to fit the Diarchy's hateful ideology. But to the average pony, this is the truth and reality of the world they live in, beset on all sides by enemies monstrous and magical.

Emberglow, a young pegasus mare, aspires to join the elite Knights, magically enhanced warriors dedicated to the holy Saints worshiped by the state religion. Can she uncover the lies and deceptions that have led the world to this bitter place?

It'd been a long time since people have actually lived in peace with one another. I suppose with the few in power living in prosperity, there are some now miserable, and hardly living at all- Things were bound to go bad eventually. Now, of course, there are two sides to every story and the others caught in-between. The Solar Empire, and The Lunar Republic. Enemies since birth, pure opposites, and now they are building up their armies.
The Lunar Republic was created to stop the Solar Empire, even though it's naturally better with its armor and supplies. Celestia has always had more than her sister Luna. The Republic is built more on numbers at this point, a rag tag team of bandits. But, there is always power in numbers.
Now. Everyone here is either fully human, a mage, or touched by an angel at birth and given wings. No one understands exactly why some people are different then others, but they are. The Lunar Republic must win this war, or humanity will be lost to the Solar Empire.

Storm, Alessa, and Sophie; a group of rag tag rebels rise up against immense odds to fight the corrupt Celestia's tyranny. Face impossible odds to free a nation on the brink of collapse. From the corrupt and evil Celestia.

Blitz, and Isabel; an unusual pair on Celestia's side. Covered in mechanical part to enhance their powers. Each very powerful and corrupt.

In a universe where ponies have discovered the means to travel among the stars, an empire arose. Lead by Princess Celestia, ponykind reached out. As prophesied, there came a time when Nightmare Moon returned, threatening to bring darkness to the shining kingdom. Six brave ponies, wielding the Elements of Harmony stopped her, and peace reigned once more. Soon however, Luna found the atrocities her sister had committed in controlling her empire and staving off the threats to it. Outraged, she set in motion thousand year old plans that she thought would never be needed.

This is the story of two empires, and the the war between them.

Celestia and Luna have a argument so big, they aren't even called Sisters anymore. Now Equestria is joining the army to vote who is the best ruler: Celestia, or Luna? War is among us, and Luna has found a way into the human world...as well as Celestia. Now with a huge crossover with humans, video games, and anything else you can think of, the war will get bigger and stronger. Here's the bad part: when the Mane Six tried to join the army to stop their distruction, they are put on different sides, and slowly losing their friendship.

Will the Mane Six be able to fix their friendship and stop war once and for all? Will the Solar Empire win the war? Will the New Lunar Republic win this war? And who else is coming to battle? Read this amazing and very long story as you discover...who wins.
