A "new" stallion arrives in Ponyville and is trying to stay out of sight. Too bad he runs directly into Pinkie Pie. Why is he running? Who is he hiding from? Can he possibly remain unseen while caught in the wake of hurricane Pinkie? More importantly, is running away the true answer to his problems? A story of learning from your mistakes, being willing to put your past blunders behind you, and never forgetting those who support you through thick and thin.

Anthea, the adopted daughter of Fluttershy, finally gets to spend the entire day with her new coltfriend, Turquoise Blitz. However, their fun day is cut short by a storm that hits Ponyville. Not being able to get home because of the storm, Turquoise spends the night and helps Annie overcome her fear of the dark.

This means no baking, which means no birthday cake, and that's just something that her daughter, Cotton Candy, can't allow. It's time to bake her a cake! There's only one issue: she can't bake to save her life. Luckily, Papa Pokey's perfectly willing to help out.
