My entry into the Imposing Sovereigns II Contest

Princesses don’t wear lab goggles or play in the mud, right?

Growing up, Zipp pondered what it means to be a princess.

Takes place before the G5 movie.

"Winds of Change" is an emotionally charged narrative that unfolds in the vibrant, bustling town of Maretime Bay, where Hitch grapples with the relentless pressures of his demanding job. The story delves into the intricate facets of stress and the profound impact it can have on an individual's life.

Hitch, once a symbol of unwavering law and order, finds himself weighed down by the responsibilities and challenges that come with his role as the town's protector. Stress becomes a relentless companion, a shadow that looms over his every step.

As Hitch navigates the intricate maze of his duties, he must confront not only the external challenges, such as protests, riots, and the burdens of modernization but also the internal struggles that threaten to consume him.

The real question here is will he be able to pull himself out, with redemption and happiness, or will the darkness consume him?

Well, only one way to find out really...

One morning, Twilight Sparkle wakes up in a strange castle with no idea where she is. She gets strange looks in town, and Fluttershy asks where her wings are. But she's just a unicorn! What in Equestria is going on?

Princess Celestia has had feelings for her faithful student for some time that go beyond a scholastic admiration. Imagine her sorrowful surprise when she receives a letter from Twilight detailing her foray into the world of romantic relationships, one that takes a sharp down-turn for the worse. It's up to Twilight's long-time mentor and friend to repair the anguish brought upon by a careless and, for all intents and purposes, faceless colt, who was too daft to appreciate somepony the princess would give anything to be with.

(Though tagged "sad", it's not that much. It's certainly a little sarcastic at times, though I wouldn't call it "comedy" per say.)

In the wake of Princesses Celestia and Luna’s announcement for their planned retirement, Twilight and her friends were thrown in a tailspin! If that wasn’t bad enough, Grogar had united Cozy Glow, Sombra, Tirek, & Chrysalis together for his master plan!

However, Sombra had plans of his own as he broke off from the legion, and invaded the Crystal Empire! Upon hearing this, Twilight and her friends raced to action! Sombra put them under their worst fears, but they broke through his spell with the Elements of Harmony! He destroyed the Tree of Harmony, but they still prevailed! They beat him...twice, vanquishing him for good, as their most strongest weapon of all was their friendship!

But, what if something else happened?

What if Sombra’s spell was too strong for the even Mane Six to overcome? What if they failed? What if they joined his side, for him to reclaim all of Equestria? How different would it turn out? How would the royal sisters react? How would Discord react? Would it be up to someone else to save the day?

It probably would. The Mane Six would be doomed, but not if two certain planet-raising princesses and the lord of chaos have anything to say about it!

An alternate ending to the season 9 opener, The Beginning Of The End, and the ninth in my alternate ending series.

Zipp decides to take Hitch up to her favorite spot in all of Maretime bay during the most clearest night of the year for a bit of late night stargazing. Despite the her happy demeanor, Hitch can see that something is bothering the mare quite a bit.

After she is summoned to Canterlot Castle in the dead of night, Twilight Sparkle struggles to figure out the reasoning behind her teachers mysterious request. However, to her surprise, the Sovereigns motives were much more emotionally touching than she thought, and as a result Twilight is forced to question the veracity of their relationship as student and teacher.

Luna's good experience with dating leads her to want to share her happiness with Twilight Sparkle.
