Ever since he was old enough to understand the basics of the world he wanted to be a soldier, to serve a cause greater than himself. To protect the ones he loved. But what happens when the cause dissipates and there are no more loved ones? The Locust War took everything from Clayton. His home, his friends, his mother, his father, his brothers, his aunts, his uncles, his cousins, his nieces, and nephews. His entire family gone. But still he made that a cause, to avenge them. To fix everything that happened to them. But what happens, when he completed that goal?

All while lurking in the shadows and becoming a lethal phantom. Only he is capable of stopping the extremists plan to cause utter chaos.

Ever since the crystals appeared on Earth in 1995, NOD and GDI have fought over Tiberium for years, succeeding in two world wars and a third war underway. But when a nation from another realm threatens the very existence of humanity, the two sides must create an unlikely alliance to push back the invaders. For GDI, it's a fight for survival. For NOD, it means protecting the Brotherhood.

Set in an alternative universe, where GDI and Nod do not abandon the technologies they have used in the Second Tiberium War, but instead further developed them.

It has killed everything in it's path, now it's at the doorstep to the castle. My sister and I are trapped in these halls having to hear the only thing my people have heard before their deaths, a choirs of voices singing. Always ending with the same repeated words before they died. "He's coming...he's coming...he's coming..."

Few truly know what lies behind the impenetrable doors Cerberus guards. Some say that it is a pit, infinite in it's depth and darkness, from which there is no return. Other claim it to be a hellish plain, filled with fire and pain and suffering, to punish the demons for their sins.

All of them are wrong.

Tartarus is small. An inescapable cell for a single prisoner. But the tales about it's purpose are not false.

For this captive human holds the key to unleashing upon Equestria forces which have not been seen for centuries, forces which predate Equestria by many an age.

And soon, he shall be free.
