This story is a sequel to The Last Pony on Earth

Alexandria; a name its founders hope might again become synonyms with scholarship in a world that only four months earlier hosted human civilization. Now only the last remnants known as the Human Preservation Initiative have retained their species, the remainder of the population has been transformed completely into ponies. Adapted to survive in a world now saturated with magic, the ponies of Alexandria settle in for what they expect to be long and boring lives.

They are mistaken. Between the gradual approach of winter, being completely new to the magic of their bodies, and the HPI constantly breathing down their backs, life in Alexandria proves to be anything but boring.

Note To E-Reader users: This story contains illustrations in each chapter, which will be lost in the standard fimfiction chapter export. The generous Phoen1x took the time to produce an epub version with all the illustrations intact, which you can download here.

A huge thanks to Zutcha , the artist for this story. Also a huge thanks to my editors Two Bit and Sparktail.

What if pony princesses were actually highly social carnivores?

What if a National Geographic team began following them around to film a documentary?

What if nopony saw anything unusual about this?

A metaphor about growing up. Or possibly a metaphor about living in a surveillance society. Or maybe just a very, very weird idea that needed to become a story.

Until yesterday, my life was no different than anybody's. Go to work, pay the bills, sleep. Today, I woke up to a world without humans. The streets are empty, the power grid is running down, and not another soul is in sight. That might not be the worst thing, if I wasn't also a pony.

Where is everyone? Why is this happening to me?

Will l stay sane long enough to starve?

Co-authored with the extremely humorous Midnight Blaze!

The Changeling Horde—perhaps the greatest known threat to Equestrian security. One of the most terrifying things about a changeling is that it could be anyone, anywhere. The recent invasion of Canterlot just proves that every changeling, no matter the circumstance, should be feared.

Or at least they would be, if they weren’t also the laziest little exoskeletal bastards on the face of the planet. When given a chance to earn a lot without working hard, however, a changeling can show a surprising amount of initiative.

Now two lowly changeling workers from the bottom of the hive find themselves presented with the opportunity of a lifetime. They mean to see it through, and neither jealous superiors nor Equestrian agents have even a chance of stopping them.

Thanks to Magello for the rad cover art, and to King of Beggars and Magello for being patient pre-readers.

Twilight's had some time to think about what happened during the Tirek crisis, and now she has only one question on her mind:

Did Twilight get Celestia's immortality or not?

When she confronts her former mentor about it, she learns some interesting things about definitions, technicalities, and necromancy.

More importantly, she learns that even the greatest of ponies have their weaknesses.

A/N: Mostly TwiLestia friendshipping, and lots of headcanon. Also one or two cameos.

After the return of Princess Luna, Equestria entered a period of unparalleled innovation. Space flight and faster-than-light travel became not only reachable goals, but reality. And so equine civilization expanded throughout the cosmos. But in their search for other intelligent life, they discovered a race that could not be befriended, appeased or reasoned with. The race they encountered existed only to feed.

Now, in a war where defeat means extinction, any victory counts.

Ponies hold nearly total sway over the world, from the sky to the earth and even beyond. Many of the races resent this, and scheme to claim a portion of that control for themselves. Some have even come close to toppling the ponies from their position of power.

This is not the story of one of those races.

Submitted for the Equestria Daily "Outside Insight" fanfic contest.

Doctor Wyatt Brown's theories about long-lost civilizations predating the Egyptians or the Mesopotamians were at best the source of campus jokes, and at worst almost a case for his termination. But when word reached him of unknown artifacts discovered in the mud flats of Spain, he rushed to see if any would prove his hypothesis.

What he didn't expect was how right he was. Or quite how long-lost the civilization he found was.
