Meanwhile, Time Turner, a teacher at Canterlot High School, watches Sunset's progress from afar. But he too is desperate for redemption - but for what? Who has he hurt, and why? How is his story connected to Sunset's?

Celestia won. Her Royal Guards defeated Nightmare Moon and her army of rogue Lunar Guards. The Shadowbolts were driven underground, and the Lunar Apprentice is dead. And what has victory brought?

Hell.

The Elements of Harmony are separated and useless. The renegade forces of the New Lunar Republic are hidden in the shadows, free to move and strike at will. Startled by this discovery, Altair learns that he is in a place called Equestria, a foreign land inhabited by ponies as well as other creatures seeming impossible. Altair only questions his purpose in a land that hasn't known war in one thousand years.

Now as she deals with these villains and starts to see that even she has limitations there is also the matter of dealing with 'The Nefarious Negamare'; a sinister and mysterious dark reflection of Mare Do Well herself who holds this broken world in a reign of terror!

Set in Shadejak's Mare Do Well universe. This story throws Rainbow into the toughest challenge yet as the appearance of Negamare makes her question what she fights for but all is not as it seems.
