In this retelling of the Friendship is Magic series, there will be many things different from the usual. Chief among them are the existence of three additional Elements of Harmony (which will be introduced later) and Spike getting more respect from the start.

Oliver, an eight year old boy was a victim of bullycide. In the school he was in, bullies have been picking on him and calling mean things to him so badly, his friends and family can't help him even if the bullies have been expelled. Her mother knows he likes going to the beach so she takes him there but he's still too depressed. When the Rainbooms notice what's going on with the poor boy, they decide to help Oliver to make his day the best day ever while also getting him over his bullycide problem.

Even as a job to get some adornment from their singing fans, it wasn't enough. They only go on vacation for every once in awhile after making enough money. Not to mention the swimsuits they had to afforded.

They want attention from so many people from their hobbies. But little did they know, they have their sights on a certain someone they're giving a liking to on the beach. And that someone is you.

He had always been obsessed with reading fiction stories about the forbidden practice of Necromancy, and much to his delight, his cutie mark spelled his unavoidable destiny as a member of his oh-so revered profession!

But Necromancy is extremely taboo, and very illegal. Equestria hadn't even seen a genuine Necromancer since the times of the fabled Nightmare Moon.

Substituting joy for dread, Light Flow knew that he would have to hide his especially special talent at any cost. Whether in his daily, mundane life as a bookish nerd, or in the heat of extreme danger.

Good thing he doesn't have any friends, right?

Hello all! If you don't know me, then good! I'm a stranger, and it'd be weird if you knew who I am!

This is my first story, and basically my first experience writing something long-term. To that end, the beginning of the story is a bit rough, but I grew as a writer somewhat significantly as time went on, so it doesn't stay quite as bad!

The story itself has somewhat wavered from goal to goal as I argued with myself about what I wanted from it, though I eventually managed to settle. In its current state, it's mostly managed to stick to a strange blend of comedic tragedy interspersed sporadically with magical jargon and slice of life.

An added warning due to justified complaining: this experience can be very subdued. Not for the easily bored or angered. Personally, I tend to use Background Pony as a benchmark for a person's capability to withstand words.

Prepare yourself for lots of rants and barely coherent plot-threads!

A month has passed since the Invasion of Canterlot. In that time, Dusk and his friends have continued to live peacefully in Ponyville. Recent revelations have shaken them, but they stand firm, their friendship and love as strong as ever, if not stronger. They help each other, lend their strength and remain united by the magic they all share. The threat is defeated, as it always is.
But these threats are never truly gone. They wait, they fester, they grow... they rise. Now, they have risen once more. Growing shadows creeping from the North. But these ancient enemies aren't the only things that need to be contended with. Dusk and Twilight continue to explore their relationship, but what will it lead to? They know of Ray's terrible secret, but how will they ultimately cope? What are these whispers of Twilight's destiny between the Royal Sisters? Can their friendship withstand the trials they will soon face?
However dark the shadows may be, one thing that's certain is that there will always be a Ray of light shining in the Dusk.
