Sandbar can't resist the distraction of a soft tail swishing across his desk on a slow day in class. The harmless curiosity leads to a new complication in his relationship with Gallus.

After enjoying an extended weekend, Gallus is up to his old habits. After receiving a failing mark on a test that Sandbar passed, Gallus grows jealous and stuffs the pony into a trash can. This act of bullying gets Gallus expelled...or does it?

On a trip to Ponyville’s new cat café, Sandbar makes three discoveries:
1. He has a huge crush on Gallus.
2. He is severely allergic to cats.
3. Griffons are half cat.

Set early in the school year in an alternate Season 8.

It's springtime in the School of Friendship and a certain squad of star students are feeling its effects.

Ocellus and Smolder are shedding their skins, Gallus and Silverstream are losing their feathers, and Yona's coat is dropping in giant piles of fur that look like the dead bodies of stray cats.

Everycreature's feeling terrible.

...It's probably a good thing that Sandbar decided on a cute nurse costume for his most recent sewing project.

On Twilight's last official day as headmare, she teaches her class a very "important" lesson with absolutely no secret intentions at all.

Contains subtle shipping from a teacher, endless trolling, and romantic undertones.

On a very cold winter morning before Hearth's Warming Day, Sandbar and Gallus return to the school, but take a moment to sit by the fire and have a moment (mostly) to themselves.

Following a horrendous Guardian/Teacher conference between Grampa Gruff and (The Great and Powerful) Student Counselor Trixie, Gallus wonders what to do next, and where he truly belongs in Equestria. If he belongs there anyway.

Which is made more difficult when trying to be gay covertly with his boyfriend.

I didn't mean to base my story on it, but it ended up being perfect for me anyway.

Locking himself in his room, barely talking to his friends, sneaking out without him, Gallus has never seen Sandbar like this.

Despite every instinct his heritage gives him, he does care. He wants to help his friend, but he wants to give him the space he needs. It's not like Sandbar to shrug Gallus off like this. And all of these flowers he keeps buying. For a Marefriend?

For some reason, Gallus kind of hopes not...

Armed with the Crown of Grover and Clover the Clever's Cloak, Gallus and Sandbar fight giant spiders to save their friends from danger.

Sometimes, the very best days are the ones where you don't do much of anything at all. Gallus, an expert napper, certainly believes that little else could be better.

But then, waking from a nap beside your loving husband and getting to enjoy some of his fall fluffiness, well... that might be the best thing of all.
