Twilight gives her latest student an important assignment.

A relationship is not always so easy to define, especially when the ponies involved are drawn in different directions. Yet it turns out that sometimes the answer to your problems really do lie in books. Even if you have to write them yourself.

Faced with the implications and changes brought about by Twilight's coronation, Rarity must contend with what it might mean for their relationship. A relationship, you see, that lives and dies by the dozens of books quietly stashed away in the back of her closet. 

One day, she hopes, she'll be able to give them back.

Princess Twilight Sparkle, the ruler of Equestria, is hungry at 1am, and she’s in the mood for hayburgers, so she has some sent to her royal castle in Canterlot.

And that’s it. Nothing else happens.

Once all her friends have passed on, Princess Twilight has one final lesson to teach them: what immortality, the afterlife, and having good friends truly means... when everyone lives...

Written prior to the series finale, so no spoilers here, just a fitting tribute to the characters and the series we've come to enjoy so much.

Because nobody should be without their friends. Post epilogue story.

For most of her life, Luster Dawn had ignored friendship. After all, it was nothing but a waste of time, right? You'd make friends, spend a lot of time together and eventually it would all fall apart again. It was for the best to stay alone.

That was before Princess Twilight herself showed her real friendship. She and her friends were the living examples of true, everlasting friendship. And sure enough, as they brought Luster to Ponyville, she quickly met new creatures and made friends.

That was all months ago though. By now, she had quit the School of Magic, with the blessing of the Princess, so she could move to Ponyville and attend the School of Friendship instead. After all, the most powerful magic there is was friendship, right? But most importantly, of course, moving to Ponyville meant staying together with her new group of friends, and even attending classes together!

However... there was a catch. Princess Twilight didn't just let her quit the School of Magic and move away, she demanded something in return. She demanded of Luster to come visit her four times a year in Canterlot and tell her of all her new discoveries in the field of friendship.

This was the first time she had to go and report on her experiences, and she wasn't quite sure how it would go.

Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends have faced endless troubles while ruling Equestria. There's never been a challenge they could not conquer.

But the end of the world has come, and nopony can stop it.

Contains narrative that jumps ahead into the future, several original characters, a despondent princess, probably some crying, and the magic of friendship.

All good things must come to an end. That is a simple fact of life, however tragic. And now one story is ending, though the participants will never be forgotten.

But while one story must end, another shall begin. This is something Twilight Sparkle will discover for herself... at the close.

Time changes us all, and Twilight and her friends are no exception. They have been through many trials and troubles in their day, but they've also grown, become more than what they used to be. But even with all the momentous things that have happened, there's always time to pause, to reflect, and to look back on the lives they've led.
