Fluorescence's mom helps run the pony side of the portal between Equestria and Earth. Taylor's mom does a similar job on the human side. So Fluor has known Taylor for, like, ever, and they share a fascination with the portal and how it works. This fascination only occasionally leads to interdimensional disasters.

A magical universe and a science-based universe may sit uneasily side by side, but friendship knows no boundaries.

This is an entry in the Science Fiction Contest III.

The long awaited sequel to one of my more successful fics on this site. Once again, this story is going to be based off a combination of the games "Terratech" and "Factorio". There may be some other large references as well.

This story is a sequel to The Heartbeats of Iron

Equestria was once a peaceful land, their armies were once the stuff of legends.
But now?
Now there is nothing left.
Cities fell within hours of the first contact, and the bulk of the Equestrian military where culled not long after.
In a last ditch effort to gain some kind of advantage, Celestia sent her younger sister with the remains of the Royal Guards to infiltrate the Factory.

This is their story.

A Crossover with Factorio, with themes from the Matrix and similar works.
Reading the prequel is required, but this is set before the final chapter.
I DO NOT own Factorio, My Little Pony, or any works referenced by this fic. Factorio is owned by Wube Software, MLP is owned by Hasbro, and the other works are owned by their respective authors/publishers.
Please support the official releases.

A soldier, an archeologist, and an android move to a small town in the furthest reaches of Equestria—a town run by a classified institution that safeguards the odd and inexplicable. A town built over the ruins of an ancient pre-Equestrian civilization. A town in the middle of a corruption scandal relating to an ancient artifact of unknown power.

This story is a sequel to Sunspots

This story continues directly after Sunspots and contains spoilers for that story and Timeless.

When a mysterious group attacks a chemical lab, there was only one pony who Celestia and Luna knew could survive the ensuing challenge that lurked beneath earth and concrete.

Called into action against a threat that seeks to destroy both him and his new friends, Toxic Shield is pulled into the remnants of a conflict that all thought was burned away by the wrath of a Solar Empress. Many remember him as the pony with an odd voice, others, as the sole survivor of the Oakbark incident. Many call him the Iceberg. Cold, unfeeling, and without empathy, immune to both chemical agents and emotions it would seem. Very few care to explore the truth of such stories, at least until a gryphoness befriends the odd stallion.

And as a poison in many shapes and forms seeks to spread across Equestria, a reformed Windigo and Shadow Pony from the Limbo realm struggle to find their place in a world that once loathed everything they represented.
Many still do.

Severe thunderstorms are a commonality when living in a mountain fire lookout tower; an event that comes and goes with ease. However, when a storm takes a turn for the worse and causes the resident lookout to fall unconscious, the scene that greets him on awakening is about as unsettling and unwelcome as can be.
Or is it?

With his radios and cellular service cut off, Equestria's first human visitor is left to his own devices to figure out why he and his tower are now in the middle of an mysterious and dangerous forest. Well, at least the clouds still move on their own, that's a good thing, right?

Look out Equestria, there's a new human in town!

*Takes place during/after Season 9

This story is a sequel to Timeless

(This story is a direct sequel and picks up right after Timeless ends. If you haven't read the previous story, ye be warned for confusion and spoilers!)

The sun is eternal, distant, powerful, timeless, and out of reach of any mortal creature. Like the entity she controls Celestia has curated such a view of herself over a thousand years. Having run the nation for over a millennium the Solar Princess is, to many, a revered and nigh-unapproachable figure.

However when you wear a mask for too long, it is said, you can forget who you are underneath.

While attempting to maintain a semblance of government during a devastating plague-like outbreak Celestia herself falls ill and she is all too thankful when an expert on the disease arrives to help. What the Alicorn didn't expect to find however, was how much she needed a friend more than any curative potion. Yet something about this doctor seems oddly unnatural and familiar.

As the continued efforts from a dangerous foe strive to destroy everything the Solar Princess holds dear, friendships may prove to be more valuable than any blade.

Takes place during/after Season 9

"Sub-Level Five doesn't exist." That's the official statement of the Stairway company.

Washing out from the Night Guard program is usually a death sentence to any similar career. When Astral Sentinel was asked if he was interested in a security job, the Thestral obviously jumped at the chance.

There was just one oddity about the job. Well, there were quite a few, but mainly just one.
He just never, ever could acknowledge the existence of Sub-Level Five.

When a complete lock-down traps the Thestral inside the odd facility, he has to break that one rule. As the security systems begin to eradicate all life inside the building, Astral has to venture down to the elevators that officially don't exist, to a floor nopony alive will speak of.

He soon finds out that some things are best left buried beneath rock and stone.

*Warning. Hitchhikers may be escaped convicts.

"This story is simultaneously horrifying and adorable." -Witchery

Takes place far after Season 9. Although, it could take place at any time...(or in the Radverse, as some people call it.) This thing took on a mind of its own.

Seriously.

Read on if you want to join Astral for the ride.
I hope you brought your crowbar.

In later chapters, loose spoilers for Timeless, Sunspots, and Cure for a Toxin
Warnings for creepy atmosphere, gore, violence, and brief mentions of sexual content/assault (nothing explicit, only implied.)

Despite this being a horror story with unpleasant elements, it's not grimdark or a depressing tale. Lots more ups and downs, but overall it's a positive read of good vs evil, love and fluff; those are the types stories I write, after all. I just want to let everyone know what they're getting into, and don't want any readers blindsided due to some of the content.
(Not a romance involving a 'herd')
