The world bathed in fire birthed an evil far more corroded and pustulent than anything seen before it. Minds caved, skulls shattered, and thoughts broke in the aftermath of the balefire. And so became the breed known to the wasteland as Raiders.

This is a short story placed in the Fallout Equestria universe immortalized by Kkat. All content herein' is non-cannon and is subject to criticisms as such. Temporary cover art done by InkREDspot.

Before there was a Wastelands there was the Equestrian Heartland, the haybale for Equestria. A region of mainly farms and small towns and cities. The only real impact of the war with the Zebras being the occasional notice from the War Department to families that have lost a member, or the increasing number of Balefire Bomb attack drills.

While on their way home to Cloudsdale from visiting family in Fillydelphia we meet Cloud Seeder and his best friend, and fellow Weather Control Warden, Winter Wind as they stop for lunch in the heartland community of Manesville. A railroad crossroads on the Hoof Rock river.

While they are there their worst fear happens and they partake in the actions and panic that occurs on the Day of The Fall. One simple decision that leads to a chain of events will change their lives forever as well as those who live there, from the waterfront of Manesville to the gates outside of Stable that they did not know was there.

A prequel to Fallout Equestria: Borderlands.

Mossy Trails was born in the Equestrian Wastelands, and knew nothing more than living to survive. She knew only how to keep moving to avoid danger. She grew up alone for the most part, but then began to rescue unwanted, abandoned, or orphaned foals. She knew not to trust others. But the older she's got, and the more foals she's added to her little group of wanderer's, the more she's come to understand that there must be something more. And that she must find safety for her children. Safety and solidity. It's getting harder and harder to hide as the groups grown. And times are changing. She knows she must find somewhere safe to settle them. Before they're discovered.

In a nation on the verge of war with its neighboring nations, a fight for resources is brewing. Discussions of aggression, annexing, or possible terrorism can be heard from peaceful neighborhoods. The future looked grim. For a particular military stallion, this is what they were not prepared for. Rorschach has dedicated his life to keep the Equestria he loves in shape. By becoming a Footsoldier in Luna's army, he will see many different conflicts and battles that come with war. By following him through these struggles, we will see how he cracks under the heavy pressure of war.

Gray Dust. Pegasus, unmarked Dashite, and gun for hire. The kind of stallion that the Talons rely jobs they don't want to do, and the one that takes them from whoever can spare the caps, doing them with cold precision like many othes do.

The only difference? He has a pair of wings in a sea of hooves and horns. Something that usually calls unnecessary attention.

When he's tasked with retreiving a pony's keys as proof of success, he learns a moderately important lesson.

Asclepius is just an EMT, an Emergiancy Medical Officer of Aspa River Hospital. He's the only pegasus in town that can tow the sky Ambulance where it needs to go. But as the bombs fall he, and the other emergancy servivces of the town, need to make Aspa River better for the future.

So they help to form the first major faction of the Arimaspi Territory wasteland, the Responders.

Equestria has been torn apart by war; torn apart by greed. By selfishness. By Jealousy. The wastelands are corrupted with Raiders, Mercenaries, and Outlaws that continue to do damage. But when a changeling, suffering from amnesia, wakes up in Stable 7 with no memories of his past, or of who he is. Hope has been found. Not only for the wastelands, or the filly he's helping, but for Equestria as a whole.

Loved Kkat's Fallout: Equestria as well as ALL the fallout games so I've decided to make one myself.

This will also be a choice driven story. At the end of every chapter, there would be three choices ranging from Good (+good karma -bad karma), Neutral (-good karma and -bad karma), and Evil (-good karma, +bad karma). The choices made will influence the Lone Changeling's behavior as well as the ones around him and the decisions made will affect the story.

Only once was it whispered aloud that a secret facility existed somewhere in the frozen Great North of Equestria and inside of the Facility, machines were being created, powerful machine warriors created to combat the zebra threat to peace.

The cover-up story was whispered just as softly, that the facility would be crafted to watch for the great Crystal Empire, to watch and wait no matter how long it took, to get into it when it finally appeared, or find the ruins of this ancient society, to procure powerful magicks to, also, fight the zebra threat.

But, sadly, Equestria was annihilated before these whispers could truly gain shape into something meaningful to anypony that did not already reside in that great facility, buried under the ice and snow. Now it is a but one of the many empty, silent military facilities that dot the old Equestrian Kingdom's territories, forgotten by all but the oldest of computers and ghouls, who no longer care.
