    Even Electronics Expire

It's official, my household holds one the last remaining Satellite series of Toshiba's computers: considering they'd stopped making them several years ago, I should've been surprised by how fast technology itself has changed; however, this isn't about the future itself but the past thereof. Around last week, my first laptop from August 2012 has stopped working completely: somehow it must have

    July's End Special

As you may know by now, this month is fast approaching its closure and along with it the end of summer; while this is nothing new so to speak of, what's not is the fact that I've started up a PayPal account late last year following my father's hospitalization due to an overdose: thankfully, he's still doing great as of yet. Either way, I can see that no new contributions have been made since the

I Should've Done This A Long Time Ago

Well, you've read the title well enough on its own and yet you're wondering about why it's there all of the sudden: after all, my previous blog was over nine months ago and even then, this should've been done a long time ago; nevertheless, it's about time for an update since I'd taken the liberty of writing some new stories recently as well as currently writing more as of currently. In any case,

It's official, my household holds one the last remaining Satellite series of Toshiba's computers: considering they'd stopped making them several years ago, I should've been surprised by how fast technology itself has changed; however, this isn't about the future itself but the past thereof. Around last week, my first laptop from August 2012 has stopped working completely: somehow it must have happened after I'd shut it down ironically; despite having a working battery, I can't seem to get it up and running like I had if at all.

To be honest, this wasn't the first time I had trouble with the computer in terms of activation: on the same year Toshiba discontinued these same electronics, all the data on my old computer was wiped completely for some reason; thankfully, I was able to get it back into working order. This time, there was no coming back, much to my frustration: as far as I'd seen it, there was a lot of stuff on my hard drive that had totaled up to four hundred gigs of video, music, and pictures I'm probably never going to see again; ironically, back when my computer was starting to go bad, I'd contemplated getting it repaired.

Not only that, but I've also more than enough reason to believe it's only a matter of time until this happens again, and I don't want to end up being dependent on other people's computers like back before my adulthood; not even the external hard drive and thumb drives can prepare me for all of this. Considering what's happening since a certain so and so took office, the only logical solution I can muster up now is getting a used laptop of the same brand; after all, there's no way I'd convince my mom to just buy me a new one when it'd came to finances: the only upside to this is that the used one so far has more storage space.

Whether or not I get around to it, it's obvious I'm going to be better off keeping what remains of it until I can extract the internal hard drive and/or find someone who can repair it outright: since computers costs money, all that I can do right now is ask for a moment of your time and money as compensation via PayPal, like before. Meanwhile, I'll be focused on finishing up on Springtime of Youth before this season ends as well as writing more stories and/or chapters here and there; until we meet again, I expect you all to live your best version of your lives so far to the fullest and enjoy every waking moment of positivity.

Signing out as always...

What a coincidence, the laptop I use is also a Toshiba Satellite. But it's gotten slow lately and some keys are not working fully.

Does it have a disk drive that let you watch movies on dvd...?

5650010 Yeah, but I don't use it.

5650218

Any reason why...?

5650254 Because I know places on the net to watch movies for free.

True but physical media is even better...
