    Even Electronics Expire

It's official, my household holds one the last remaining Satellite series of Toshiba's computers: considering they'd stopped making them several years ago, I should've been surprised by how fast technology itself has changed; however, this isn't about the future itself but the past thereof. Around last week, my first laptop from August 2012 has stopped working completely: somehow it must have

    July's End Special

As you may know by now, this month is fast approaching its closure and along with it the end of summer; while this is nothing new so to speak of, what's not is the fact that I've started up a PayPal account late last year following my father's hospitalization due to an overdose: thankfully, he's still doing great as of yet. Either way, I can see that no new contributions have been made since the

I Should've Done This A Long Time Ago

Well, you've read the title well enough on its own and yet you're wondering about why it's there all of the sudden: after all, my previous blog was over nine months ago and even then, this should've been done a long time ago; nevertheless, it's about time for an update since I'd taken the liberty of writing some new stories recently as well as currently writing more as of currently. In any case,

July's End Special · 4:20am Jul 29th, 2021

As you may know by now, this month is fast approaching its closure and along with it the end of summer; while this is nothing new so to speak of, what's not is the fact that I've started up a PayPal account late last year following my father's hospitalization due to an overdose: thankfully, he's still doing great as of yet. Either way, I can see that no new contributions have been made since the last blog post, even with everything that has been said and done no less; although I can understand people having so much to do before they can add on another task, I also realize I have a responsibility to clarify my link in its entirety: https://paypal.me/M4Combine?locale.x=en_US.

In any case, I have also started up a thread in the Dark group forum about Veritas' expose on Hasbro and their marketing strategy in this day and age; for those of you whom have been paying attention to the news regarding G5, you should already know by now why I'd been tense about their arrival so to speak: considering everything that's been happening in the past five years, the sentiment is clear to a fault. Of course, since people can't go one second without thinking about running their mouths off on some halftruths and falsehoods that have been constantly debunked before, during, and/or after, it may as well be a good time to set the record straight and put our foot down; after all, for all this talk about what our species should and shouldn't do, AI is gonna have to make us look like a laughingstock sooner or later.

Under benign circumstances, between the stories and blogs I've been making for the past seven years, this should be a great time for me to not only make an update, but also change my profile to adapt and overcome my mediocrities; after all, I've been doing this for so long, anyone who has been paying attention would notice the icons changing every year since my arrival. To those reading anyway, I'd like to start off by apologizing for not doing this sooner, let alone starting off this belated anniversary of mine on a happier note: the stories I've uploaded last night were to commemorate the occasion in question, especially considering the fact this month is known for having many holidays, mostly secular, being celebrated with firecrackers, hence my nomenclature.

By and by, I hope to keep on writing throughout the rest of this year, even with the knowledge of G5's debut: considering the details, it's safe to say that Bonnie and Lauren would've liked nothing more than for their legacies to not only prevail but also let them stand on their own two feet; even now, this website as well as fanfiction, AO3, wattpad, and the like are living proof of this. Even if this next generation manages to get a foothold, it'll be nothing short of a bigger footnote compared to the likes of Newborn Cuties themselves: considering this is coming from a guy who hasn't seen them by and large yet heard of their reputation, I'd like to also apologize for having to bring it up; with everything getting too invasive these days, a robot uprising would be more preferable than whatever the marketing team and their cronies are pitching around.

Still, let's end this on a brighter note with the hopes that Generations 1, 2, and especially 4 will be honored for what they are: their zeitgeists' wellspring of inspiration and creativity capable of bringing people together as they'd have wanted like so many great titles in and out of Hasbro's reach, not some mindless cash grab or failed brainwashing attempt people have made since the time of their arrivals. With that in mind, I wish you all the best of health, wealth, and wisdom altogether in living your lives without fear of being attacked for simply existing at large, like some brat in a pink blouse would one too many times; I'm sick and tired of letting this happen before my eyes on a regular daily basis, especially considering the motivations and lack thereof, because it's too predicable and stagnation all the very same.

No matter what, this is Fireflower signing out…
