With part 24 in the books—and thanks for all the comments, Black--Soul!—I’m now putting the final touches on part 25, which has been a big hit with prereaders and is now 11.5k words long. As perhaps befits its origin, this story seems to be going the full Starship Troopers movie route, with equal emphasis on battles and boobs—well, figuratively speaking (mostly) for the last. To that end, you’re going to get a strong measure of lust, lore, and gore in this one.
As for the lust part, be advised that this chapter will have a couple borderline R-rated areas as Gilda finds herself caught in some compromising situations near the beginning and end of the chapter. For the lore aspect, we’ll continue to explore the Ibex and also finally learn a little about Fortrakt’s previously unknown backstory, including his upbringing and why he joined the Guard. You’ll also get a surprising revelation from another intense talk between Fortrakt and Gilda, and one hell of a twist ending after a rather cantankerous lady named Ma Deuce comes calling for the Cloven. 
That twist will figure prominently in the chapters to come as our heroes try to reach (relative) safety at Aricia.
No teaser this time, as this is one chapter I’d rather folks come into cold. With all but one preread in, the chapter will be out tomorrow evening. I could release it tonight, but I’ll give readers more chance to catch up on the last chapter first. Be looking for it, and thanks for following. Sadly, this will be it for Feathered Hearts for a bit as I’ll be shifting over to write a couple chapters of Firefly and Unleash the Magic next.

Gaby is very good for moral and keep the mental health high. She be a great Civilian character before and after missions. Somehow i can imagen her as a Spa Griffon. Similiar to the Spa pony in Ponyville just with higher dexteriouse pressure points.
Fun fact: There was once a german veterinarian with the name/titel Bonebreaker, that helped a lot of animals like horses, ponys, birds etc etc. You can see him on youtube video when he was still alive. Unfortunately as far i know he died before he could teach his craft to his apprentice.
He used things like spoon edges to stimulate nerve endings near the spine to reset muscles and he was a master at bone and joints manipulation.
I can imagen Gaby being his equivalent, helping Griffons and non Griffons to stay in peak performance. Just instead of the spone edge she uses dulled Talon tips.

Don’t get me wrong. I completely agree with you. Unfortunately, I checked and Harasha was right that bare nipples are a no-no on site. It says so right in the rules:
Needless to say, I’d rather not tempt fate or the mods’ wrath, and it was easy enough to create a cropped pic to replace it with. So I did so.
