Electrical Issues
My lights are flicking off and on for 5 days now, and it's been super distracting. It got so bad I actually installed that software that comes with my UPS to monitor the power so I can count the times there's a total power loss to the apartment. We're up to 94 times. Anyway, an electrician will be here "soon" to fix it, and it's not like I couldn't do crap on my laptop, but I feel like the protagonist in some Lovecraft short story. I'm obsessed on the lights, ready to commit unspeakable acts to raise the Old Ones and carry out my revenge on the power grid. Luckily I'm out of virgin blood and nutmeg so I haven't ended reality.... yet.
Dash of Humanity 3
Just the final chapter + epilogue remain! Can't believe we're already here. I thought that "wow I'll release 2 chapters a week and have plenty of time to write DoH4 and other stuff!" would work out better. It bought me time but not motivation. Maybe motivation is like NFT's. I can have all the tips and tricks I want, but in the end, I Just own the receipt to an image of the motivation, and not the motivation itself.
Anyway, enjoy the last couple chapters! And then Dawn is going to retire to a farm and watch the sun set on a grateful Equestria. Or maybe he'll sit atop a dragon, looking out over Canterlot, and decide to burn it all to the ground because he "kind of forgot" he was the good guy.
Bonus Story?
Valentine's Day is coming up, and I'm thinking of writing something for it. Of course it involves coming up with a name for a character and I suck at that, so I've all but given up on coming up with a cool original name. Maybe I'll call them Ducky McDuckFace or let the commentors decide on the name. Of course then I'd probably end up with a pegasus named Cloitus Squirter or something so on second thought... yeah. I'll get to work on the story this weekend, pick up some nutmeg, and summon a friend to ask for a good name.
Next story:
Haven't decided yet. Got a little feedback on some ideas from the last blog, a few front-runners. DoH4 seems obvious and I'm still digging the semi-absurdity-but-awesomeness of an Animorphs crossover. So we'll see what I decide when the lights stop flickering.
I can't claim responsibility for your electrical issue... maybe. I have caused a few outages, in recent history.
DoH3.5: Valentine's Day comes around and Dawn gets stuck in the middle a love triangle between Fluttershy, Dash, and the mysterious new mare in town named Valentine. Things get more complicated when Starlight and Fluttershy request the intervening "services" of his female alter-ego, Sunny.
