    Everfree Northwest

Quick update. I'm at efnw this weekend if anyone wants to try and say hello. You can leave a message here, but discord would be best to send a dm. You can also keep an eye out for my metal gear solid / time traveling Twilight shirt. (I used to have a Twilight's dollhouse shirt but I can't find it and this is. The. Worst. Possible. Thing.)

    New One-Shot

Hey all! It's been awhile. Apparently time flies, and the smoldering dumpster fire that is this tiny blue speck amongst the stars can be a bit distracting at times. Which is why I figured a little Escapism is in order!

Story Update Plans · 11:33pm Dec 23rd, 2021

Thought I'd share some thoughts, and ask for some opinions, on my story update plans. If you want to see anything in particular updated, or have any other ideas, let me know.

I'm hoping to find that "spark" of motivation that I can kindle into another writing sprint, like I did in November. I think it's the winter weather (below freezing all month) but I'm in a very hibernate-y mood. The analysis paralysis doesn't help either, so really I need to break the stalemate in my head that's kept me from continuing/starting any project other than DoH3.

Lately I've been trying to figure out what story or stories to focus on, and whether to do them one at a time or cycle them one chapter at a time. I'm also not sure how much time to spend writing, right now it's probably around 4-5 hours a week which is fine for editing and revising one story. I want to be doing more than just one story at a slow pace though. Maybe that itself is the problem, and one story is enough and I shouldn't force writing if I'm not in the mood. Should kick back and relax another couple weeks?

Currently in progress:

Twilight's Dollhouse 2 - It's probably about halfway completed, but is complicated by the number of point of view characters and total story arcs.

Ponified Without Consent 2 - About 1/3rd completed, with a solid outline so it's mostly just the issue of sitting down and writing it.

Dash of Humanity 3 - Written and being edited & Revised, it's the only story I can feel "laser focused" on for some reason.

Want to finish:

Carnage and Murder Crew - There's something fun about watching a psychopath lie, cheat, and steal there way into a position where the CMC is doing their bidding for fear of getting caught.

Dirus Somnus - A grand Lovecraftian horror story where each 'episode' is some fresh new horror, but I don't think there's much of a market for Lovecraft.

Want to start:

Dash of Humanity 3 clop side stories - Seems like they were always pretty popular

A Puppet to her Fame sequel - I keep thinking about doing another grim dark

Gen 5 Fics - A fan sequel to a popular gen 5 grimdark, an idea about a force TF/hypnosis by Discord, and more...

Spin-offs - of a couple great stories I've found recently

Closing thoughts

If you see any genre I haven't written in a while, or incomplete story I never finished but you want to see completed, let me know. Or maybe a new story idea I've thrown around in fim fic discord and think I should write it. If you have some magical motivational phrase like Shia LaBeouf that you think will help me get back "up to speed" share it. I proved to myself I can still set goals and write well in November, and I enjoyed doing it, now the issue is finding the time and the energy to keep writing. (I usually have time, or energy, but not both.)
