S3RL
So recently a friend introduced me to S3RL, and I've been listening to their music and some remixes to help me focus and work, or write, and it's been great. Here's a sample mix if you want to check out to what we owe my almost-productivity lately.
Friend taking Commissions
My friend n3k1dsk1llz opened up for commissions, they do write clop. So if you've got blue balls from the fact I haven't written clop in like 8 years, maybe they can help. They write non-clop too, they've got 30 stories so it should be easy to see if they write your favorite genre/style.
Story Recommendations
If you haven't read "Five Score Divided by Four", then you've missed out. If you did read it and wanted a really good spin-off of 5/4, handling some darker themes like alcohol abuse and pony trafficking, then I'd recommend the mature fic "Five Score And One For The Road" by Hyreia.
If you're looking for a well-written fic about what it's like to discover a portal to Equestria, and the challenges of coming out as trans, then I recommend "Coming Out Of My Cage" by Boopy Doopy. A very well written story that can give insight into what that journey is like.
And I'm not sure if I ever mentioned "Forgotten" or "Forgotten: Frozen North", but it's a good pair of short stories by MilePrower06. Sunny is on the search for what happened in gen 4. While we wait for gen 5, it's interesting to see a fan explanation for how the world got to be the way it is.
Dash of Humanity 3
I feel a bit bad that I won't shut up about DoH sometime, but I'm loving it too much. 
Anyway I just renamed a chapter to "Chekhov's Gun Store" because I realized this chapter has like 80% of the story's foreshadowing! So if you want to go pull a "New Rockstar" style breakdown, and try to guess everything that happens, feel free.
It concludes Act 1, and hopefully Act 1 wasn't too boring. Starting next week after a big reveal, Act 2 begins. It's got more of the action and adventure now that the focus has shifted from world-building to problem-solving. It'll also have my favorite chapter, lucky #11.
