Turkey Day · 3:52am Nov 26th, 2021
So everyone's talking about what they're thankful for, and that didn't used to be my thing. But I started doing a gratitude journal about a year ago, and remembering what you're thankful for can lead to a big improvement in your mood and general outlook in life. So take a moment to be grateful.
And always look on the bright side of life.
What am I grateful for? I'm glad there's still a fandom and I've made new friends since I've come back. I'm grateful that the Illuminati haven't found me yet. And I'm grateful for backup generators when you lose power on thanksgiving, and laptops so you can write pone even without power. Of course, I've got more pone to write, at least 8k words worth, by the 30th. I think everyone will really like this new Dash of Humanity... because if they don't like it, I'll probably spiral into a depression and become the next Marvel Movie Villain. My superpower would be scaring off audiences and tanking the box office ratings.
So I did want to do another DoH3 preview but the votes got tied last blog, so I'll pick something soon maybe. I'm right at the climax of the 3rd act and don't want to stop writing, in fact, I didn't even want to blog because the action sequence is going to be so good I'm sure they'll hire me to write the next Fast and the Furious movie. We'll call it "Fast and the Furious 47: Holy S#&T! We're Ponies!" (Hasbro hasn't gotten back to me about the rights, but Netflix has already greenlit it.)
After all, at the end of the day we're all the same: We want to wake up in Equestria as ponies and not have to deal with *waves hand around* this anymore. So let's be grateful together for what we do have in our lives, and for Generation 5!
Happy Thanksgiving, Kaidan!
I hope your day was a fun as mine. Keep on writing!

Thanks!
It was a good day. I wrote the climax to act 3 of DoH 3 today. Who knew a power outage and a turkey was just what I needed to get the juices flowing.
Wonderful post and Happy Thanksgiving, Kaidan!
That song sums up the last few years so well ...
Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!
