Yes folks, after a week of more furious on-and-off bursts of writing, the entire first draft of Chapter Seven is done, dusted and sent off for editing. I can't really say how long my editor will take, by I personally am hoping for it to be up by Monday. The final part I wrote (not final as in the last section of the chapter) was the Inquisitor's POV, and the words just appeared onscreen. It was really easy to write. I love writing the bits of political intrigue, wordplay and the banter between all the different figures in government (including Nightmare Moon). I also loved writing about Twilight and how she perceives the world around her; a world that is so familiar to the one we know but yet so very different.
Expect a nice helping of world building in this chapter, as well as foreshadowing and relationship building. Insights into the workings of several characters are indeed present, and there are some small attempts at comedy I hope you all (or at least most of you) find entertaining. 20,000 words makes this one chapter have the same content as just over half the story! That's a monster dose of NFC right there.
