Greetings, Everypony,
This is not a happy blog. perhaps some of you know him, perhaps you don't, but fellow brony and friend, Mocha Star, is currently incarcerated and awaiting trial. He expects to be exhonorated in the next few months. However, there are some things we can do to make his time in jail more bearable.
I'll just post this transcription of his letter to me.

How's it going? Mocha here, writing from le jail. It's boring, but I am alive and well enough to write you. I don't know how long this'll be or how long I'll be here, but I'd like you to let the others in the group chat know I'm okay. There is a link a link on the envelope anypony can use to find me and use to send me a snack or bail $, which I'd truly appreciate. You can share the address I listed, too, which others can use to mail me until I get out, hopefully by July 10th*.
How's the fandom doing? How's the fandom doing? I have no internet access, so I don't know anything pony related going on out there. Can you send me an a printed pic of my OC/avatar of me or my pony kids? Maybe a pic of laxlie?[sic] Photo would work, too. Post something on fimction about helping me out, too. I'll take anything I can get at this point. There's no soda, a 2oz baggie of Doritos costs $1.59, and I'm out of $ until I get out. I'm practically begging at this point, but the meals hear are worse than high school; everything is overcooked and underportioned- unler I were in Europe, and they only use meat alternatives! $4 for 3 ounces of tuna, and I'm almost desperate enough to gamble a dinner tray for one. How's that for a run-on paragraph?
Even without a PC, I'm still a beast at writing. Speaking of, I am still writing, except Sunny, shouldn't write that in here, lol. I'm looking for a copy of Fallout Equestria- base story, Horizons, or Murky #7, if anypony wants to send me a copy of one of those. Wishful, but that's all I've had this past month.
I've had a bit of an adventure I'll be writing a story about once I get home, for certain. I'm looking forward to a reply letter, but there's a website you and anypony else can buy digital stamps from to message me through an app- Securustech.net - yeah, $0.50 a message, but instant pics sending and messages is cool. Not to mention it's easier than sending a letter, but I know pones like Lyra Alluse and some of my 400 followers will, too. I have your number, so I'll try calling, but they charge a lot, but only $1 for me to send a letter. I can also get video games, but it all has to be PG-13, it's monitored so no porn gets through.

Is there any information on what this is about? Not case information, just public knowledge of what he's being charged with?

I looked it up, too, but then I kept digging and find the news article to be highly misleading by way of leaving important things out, like the woman who called up the police being his disgruntled x-wife. You might want to go read Mocha's side of the story. Here's some of it.

Decided to read, looks like a roller coaster. If memory serves, these dates coincides with times when his wife was going psycho on him. Right now, they're in the middle of a divorce, and she is determined to make sure she gets the children. No real love or anything, just wants to see him suffer. This drama started back... 2018 I want to say, with him learning she was having an affair. I am hoping he gets exhonorated and it's not true. It says the prior charges were dropped, meaning lack of evidence. The way he was talking last we spoke made it sound like he was hopeful and overall not fearful; certainly wasn't acting guilty or like this was the last time we were going to speak for possibly forever. The truth will come out soon enough in full.

That doesn't quite match. What I found was he was being charged with using a weapon to restrain a child under thirteen years while a different person committed sexual assault on the child.
Information on charges is frequently opaque, though, and it may be the case that the charge listed is only a reference to the statute in which case events may be somewhat different.
EDIT: Even though I don't know exactly what's going on, I agree it sounds awful how he has been treated by his ex and the prison system in the US is nightmarish.

Really? Did you make sure that it matched the name and county (Polk, Minnesota)? Alexander is a pretty common name, so you might have stumbled on the wrong report.
The two months in jail part really gets at me. It really bothers me that if I'm charged with a crime, regardless of my innocence, I might have to spend months to a year in jail just waiting for the trial. And it's worth noting that, even if you're found innocent at trial, there is no compensation given for the period you spent in jail waiting for your court appearance. Not for the misery of the experience itself, not for lost wages or reputation... People can be ruined by an accusation even if it's laughed out of court the moment it gets before a judge. The system sucks that much. Amendment VI of the US constitution reads:
That word isn't superfluous. Letting the accused but not convicted languish in jail was a thing hundreds of years ago, too, and the drafters of the Bill of Rights understood that it was a problem serious enough to address in the primary legal document of the country. So why does it receive so little attention today? Where are the people calling for the reestablishment of the 6th Amendment?

I also found, upon your prompting, a police-blotter arrest report that matches what you mention, which is odd, because the more detailed article doesn't say anything about a second person nor a weapon. That seems like a pretty major discrepancy.
Need to know more about the charges before one can decide to help.

Yeah, I dunno. The producing child porn charges he faced from 2009 (dismissed) and 2010 (fate unknown but presumably dismissed) and the report of him molesting the same daughter in 2019 (no charges filed that time, apparently) seem unconnected to the current molestation apart from a pattern of behavior if they actually happened, and there's no description in the newspaper of an accomplice in the current set of charges. Either way, the charges from 2009 and 2010 can't be from the same girl because she wouldn't have been born yet or even conceived.
He's clearly being charged under the "accomplice with a weapon", but maybe they use that to charge the perp as well, and/or use it if there's any threat of force. The law in Minnesota is not super clear.
If your ex is coercing your kids to accuse you of rape twice over a span of ten years (the 2010 case is pictures taken while the child was asleep), I would think you would need to intervene in family court to assert your rights. That isn't a situation where continued co-parenting makes much sense. It's also bizarre that he would conceive a child with his ex after she (presumably) manipulated another child to accuse him of coercing the child to perform lewd acts on camera (the 2009 case).
I agree that his situation sucks and the prison system in the US is barbaric, but there's a lot of sketch here.

I'm guessing the 2010 charges are unrelated, but I would emphasize that those charges were dismissed, which means we should treat them as false unless further information presents itself. A pattern of behavior cannot be constructed from a series of dismissed charges. It's also worth noting that the ex is aware of those original dismissed charges, and so could well have decided on a form of revenge that would incorporate them for plausibility.
Another reason I would tend to believe Mocha's side of things is that one of his blogs has a rant (and accompanying screen capture of a text exchange) about how his ex got his young daughter to tell him that he's "not a man". In other words, there's already evidence that the ex is both willing and able to manipulate the daughter into saying things to get at Mocha.
