Blood Moon Rising · 8:10pm Mar 5th, 2021
Hello all. It is I, that one guy that used to make horse stories ages ago.
I know, it has been a long time since I've posted anything, and I apologize for that. My writing process has always been slow, but I have some good news for those of you that still care enough to stick with me. My next story is *almost* done!
In the most technical sense, it is done. I have it written, and barring some horrible plot issue that I somehow overlooked that requires extensive rewrites, I'm pretty confident that I will be able to start posting it in the next few months. I even have the final title, and as a gift for following me and being patient enough to wait this long, I'll tell it to you as a sort of teaser for things to come.
I call it Angel of Justice: Blood Moon
Spooky, amirite? As the title suggests, this will be the first major sequel to my first story, Angel of Justice. As such, it will require some knowledge of a few of my other stories to enjoy completely. Mostly Spiritus ex Machina and Off the Beaten Path. But, no worries if you haven't read these. I will be including a summary of my previous works in a chapter 0, just in case anyone wants to read Blood Moon but missed out on my other works for whatever reason. Definitely not because I was kinda bad at writing back then and am too deep in to make any massive changes to plot
On that note, I'm looking for a secondary proofreader to help me polish my final copy before posting. I currently have someone going over it with me, which is why I can't start posting it sooner, but I would like someone to give a third opinion on some elements like characterization and dialogue... oh, and also to make sure my grammar and punctuation isn't terrible.
If you are interested in working with me on this and I haven't already started posting, go ahead and message me. You will basically get to read the story earlier than everyone else, and you will be helping me to make sure my long awaited baby is as good as it can be. Even if you haven't proofread before, I will gladly accept general impressions and opinions from a reader's standpoint.
Lastly, I'd just like to thank anyone that shows even slight interest in me and my works. I will write the stories I want to write regardless of how they are received, but I am glad to know that my stories give even a few people the enjoyment and delight that I get from reading fanfiction. I hope Blood Moon will live up to the standard I seem to have set with Angel of Justice, and I hope to improve my skills even more by the time my next work rolls out in five years... give or take
