Heya, ghouls and goblins! Missy here, just checking in with you all! As most of you probably saw, the big finale to the Undertale arc came out today! And WHAT A FINALE it was! I laughed, I cried! I punched the air multiple times!
(And again, Lantern, I'm still REALLY sorry!)
AND it was the longest chapter in Multiverse, yet, by almost five THOUSAND words! Man, how did you do it, Penn?
Urgh... I'm just... gonna lay here for a while...
Ah, a classic case of "post-publish zombieism!" Just give him a day or two, he'll be right as rain!
My brain feels like I popped every fuse it has...
Okay, maybe three days. So... For those of you with questions or things you want to discuss from the finale, I'll be here answering questions until Penn's feeling better!
What was your favorite part? What didn't make sense to you? I know I'm still trying to wrap my head around all that saving and resetting and memories and dreams... What was even REAL? At least it had a happy ending, right?

It was NOT just a dream... Although that twist isn't out of the question for the future...
Oh! Well, that settles that! Happy endings all around! Just a couple loose endings to tie up, now, and then it'll be back on the road with Sunset and Penn!

Where to even start? I was honestly surprised by the ending with Penn getting cloned, but that honestly paled to the sheer determination of Sunset managing to reason with a pissed off Asriel/Flowey. (I keep wanting to call him Azrael, lol)
As for Frisk/Chara, I'm glad that they snapped the kid out of whatever funk Flowey put him in.
Next time I see that flower, I'm bringing a heavy flamer for his heresy.

Sunset definitely had her work cut out for her! Standing up to a peeved God of Hyperdeath takes a lot of guts, I was shaking in my stockings! And hopefully we'll never see Flowey again now that Asriel's back from the dead!
As for Frisk... Well, they ARE still stuck in the loop of saving and resetting! We'll have to do something about that!

And yeah, as someone who's personally never played Undertale, (having stuck with games like Warframe, Call of Duty, and Warhammer 40K), I will admit, that much saving and resetting would make me a bit loopy in the head
I hope there's a cool down epilogue chapter now that the arc's second climax is done as that Monster Reborn leaves a lot to unpack.
