I know I just made a blog post, but it just gave me a much larger idea. One that could be used to create a comedy anthology.
Ponyville Radio
With Twilight Sparkle moving to Canterlot and taking over as ruler of Equestria, The Castle of Friendship is empty. Instead of leaving it as it is, or turning it into a museum, it goes up for sale. Vinyl Scratch buys it and turns it into Ponyville's first broadcast radio station.
Now, she just needs to create programming to fill the schedule.
And that's where the comedy and anthology come in. Essentially each chapter would be about a character trying to have a program of their own. Often with results that are not very good. "Maud's Rock Hour" could just be one such attempt.
This sounds quite promising.

I have already some program ideas:
- Pinkie Pie's Pleasent Pastry Paking Program - A bake along show
- HUMANS! with Lyra
- Double O: the Mac and Spike table top podcast
Fluttershy's Animal Corner: Where Fluttershy explains a wide variety of animals to most of the rest of Equestria and tries to find loving homes for some of her gentler animal friends deserving of those homes.
Discord's Comedy Hour: Where Discord (as part of his community service for his stunt posing as Grogar) heads up a show looking for the most talented comedians in Equestria for a wide range of charities. Enough chaos to satisfy Discord, but helpful enough to meet his community service.

Have to say, I DO like these ideas (and I have a feeling Sunset Shimmer and Sci-Twi would make for some good recurring guest stars on Lyra's show [being from the human world and all])
Though, unless we are talking about the usually dog Spike from the Equestria Girls universe, Mac would have to find another partner to do the show with (considering Spike went back to Canterlot along with Twilight)
Justice had a Public Access television parody. Well, I say "parody" but I'm pretty sure anything that worked remotely like that would devolve into most of those things. Maybe not the Starlight Glimmer horror movie minus the movie.

Just because he lives in Canterlot doesn't mean he can't fly over for their regular boys night. So why don't turn it into a show, also with guest stars.
Sticks and Stones: Relationship counselling with Maud and Mudbriar. With occasional special guests Ocellus and/or Thorax.

Yeah. I guess that IS a pretty valid point.
Here's another possible one:
"King Thorax's Changing Times": Thorax has a show that involves him discussing Changeling culture and learning about the cultures of other races. Ember is a frequent guest star.
