Shepherd is playing scales on a violin in Octavia and Vinyl's house. Octavia listens nearby, while Vinyl eats some muffins in the kitchen.
Octavia: "Very good! You're finally getting it back!"
Shepherd: "Yeah. I kind of stopped for a while for various reasons."
Octavia: "It can be difficult to keep up practice without reinforcement: From others to listen. You strike me as someone who has been alone a great deal."
Shepherd: *Flushed cheeks* "... More than I'd like to admit."
Octavia: "The way you play says it all. A deep loneliness. But don't worry. We'll practice until you can express so much more! We shall make such beautiful music together!"
Vinyl: "You know, his fingers would be better put to use on other things I can think of." *Grins*
Octavia: *blush* "V-Vinyl! That's so-so uncouth!"
Vinyl: "What? Come on." *She slid over to Octavia and hugged her with one foreleg* "I'm sure he could handle us both~."
Octavia: *Blushes harder* "I-I-Really!"
Vinyl: *Grins up at Shepherd slyly* "What do you say, dude? Want to see what kind of notes you can make with both our instruments?"
Shepherd: "..."
Later...
Vinyl: "Oooh... Yes! YES! YESSSS! DO IT! DOOO IT!"
Shepherd... Is manning her soundbroad and scratching the vinyls, as Octavia plays her cello in concert.
Vinyl: "Yeah! You're good at this for a first timer!"
Shepherd: "Thanks! But uh... Do you intentionally make everything you say sound like an innuendo?"
Vinyl: "Innu-what?"
Shepherd: *sighs* "Nevermind. I like this, but I think I prefer the violin."
Vinyl: "Aw come on! I bet if you gave me a few minutes in the bedroom I could change your mind~!"
Shepherd: *laughs* "Is that where you keep your other soundboard?"
Vinyl: "... Yes. Yes it is." *Shifty eyed look*
Octavia: *Sighs, rolls her eyes* "You're hopeless."
Inn-HER-endo! Nyuck nyuck nyuck.
"If by 'soundboard,' you mean—"
"Finish that sentence and you're eating your own cooking for a week."
"... Stupid cheating earth ponies with their stupid knowing how a kitchen works..."
Maybe Vinyl got cursed so that everything she tries to say comes out as innuendo.

It is just like Vinyl (in head canons) to be a not-so-subtle pervert. Also, Scandalized Octavia is hilarious!
In other news, Steve gives Octavia a massive coronary (and causes Vinyl to take to the vapors,) when he tells them his musical training revolves around the tuba. Although Octi is vry intrigued by his perfect pitch…
You seriously just have to make a "Hands: Side Silliness" or something like that, and post it all there. It's much easier to track a story than to track blogs...
