Review Incoming · 6:57pm Jul 13th, 2019
First, I need to express a little bit of disappointment. While I appreciate FanOfMostEverything expressing interest, I was hoping for more than one person responding. With such a lack of a response... honestly, it feels like no one really cares.
That said, the review is something that I really want to do, and this book is one I've wanted to talk about since I first learned about it. To that end, the review is still going to occur. And hopefully, some of you will actually enjoy it.
Today, however, I'm going to give a little teaser. I'm not going to give you the name of the book, or it's author yet, that will be with the start of the review. What I will is this: the book is actually three stories.
That's right, I'm doing a single book review, but it's of three stories. It's kind of like how you can get copies of The Chronicles Of Narnia or The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as a single large book that collects all the stories together in a single one.
Only not as good.
See, while it is three books, and each page is the size of a regular sheet of paper (with size twelve font and one inch borders, I believe), it is only two-hundred and thirty-three pages long. That also includes the foreword, nearly full page descriptions of each story, the author's biography, and a list of the characters that appear in it. So even though it's three stories, it is still shorter than a singular novel.
Additionally, I will have to do some reconsidering on how I am going to section out the review. At least, for the beginning of it.
What do I mean? Well, you're just going to have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
Hope you're interested.
I mean, I still am. Not sure where everyone else is.
We're all down with the vapours, after the last book.
I behalf of the others, I apologize for our lack of reply. Perhaps they, like me, assumed that one more... verbally skilled than ourselves would step up and speak. Perhaps they had (have?) no strong feelings, one way or t'other. For myself, I wearied of the last bad book review (the one to which you alluded). There came a point where it was so bad that it just wasn't funny anymore.
But I will read your upcoming review; perhaps you can bring back the funny.
