    It Can't Be Just Me

I still go to Derpibooru. I know some people have stopped, or at least stop having their art there, but it is still the most convenient way to see most mlp art (and not having to create an account for every art site under the sun). I also live out in the country, so there are many times when my internet can be spotty. There are times when I will be in the middle of something, and it will slow,

Still Getting Attention For Some Reason

So, it has been over a year since I last posted or updated a story (August 2021), and almost a year since I announced i was giving up on continuing any stories here. Yet, somehow, I am still getting notifications that people are liking my stories, and even occasionally getting new followers.

I'm kind of curious as to why?

    Giving Up

Well, I'm admitting defeat. The stories that I have here but have not finished are now officially cancelled. After all this time, it seems unlikely that I will be continuing to work on them. Sorry to those who were hoping that they would keep going, but hopefully you understand.

    MLP, D&D, and breath weapons

Something I was thinking about the other day.

In the show, we have dragons of numerous colors, but they all breathe fire. Some of them are of different colors, but it is fire all the same.

Sweet and Smoky comments · 5:15pm May 25th, 2019

Couple things in relation to Sweet and Smoky, which just aired:

1) Biggest question: how do dragon families work? Smolder established that they tend to live in family units back in The Moltdown, talking about her parents and how they kicked out her brother when he started molting, so it's not communal where they are all raised together. In this, we see that all of the eggs are laid together in one area, and many in a close group. So, how do the dragons find their specific child? Is there some bond they share we don't see that makes their specific child easily recognizable from all the others? Do they even look for their child? Do they simply pick one that looks most like them?

Whatever the answer, I see a lot of possible story fuel.

2) Smaller question: how did Garble react when he learned that Smolder was going to the friendship school? Between how much he spoke out against the ponies and their stuff, and the fact that Smolder was his little sister and one of the few dragons who could show a softer side to, he must not have been happy about it. So how much did it bother him that she was leaving to go to a school run by ponies that was meant to teach their ways?

Not as much story fuel, but it could create a good short for anyone who wanted to.

3) I guess we now know why Garble knew what a hug was, but Ember didn't.

4) Someone should keep an eye on Fluttershy and make sure she doesn't "adopt" a baby dragon... or two... dozen...

Fluttershy, Mother of Dragons. (Meanwhile, in the human world, the shelter receives a massive shipment of puppies.)
