Everything is as it appears. Do not question the backstory behind the curtain.

    Minor peek

Wanted to show a little bit of what I'm doing in regards to my upcoming stories. I'm too cheap for Photoshop, so here I am using Paint Tool Sai. Still a lot of work to do, but it's a start. This'll be for the Everfree concept in my last post, and I'll put in the short and long descriptions below.

Let me know what you think!

    Let's Try That Again

So, I've been a bit quiet for a while, and I think it might bear some explanation as to why.

Mostly, it's that last weekend, my study abroad in Mexico ended. This Friday and Saturday, I'll be moving into my apartment on campus to start the new school year. Real life prevails, and I've been a bit tired getting run all over the place.

    Eyeburner, Pony Flavored

Well, I'm using PostImage instead for image links, and it looks like it's decently high quality, though I haven't been taking too close of a look.

I've been quiet for a little while now, so I figured I'd let everyone know what I'm up to at the moment.

Plans have... changed a bit. I was originally working on trying to bring my plant pony story, Rampant Growth, to realization, but I've been tripping a lot over general direction. I sorta have an idea of where I want to bring everything to, but there's a lot of space in between all the potential major points and I'm not really brainstorming many ideas to fill it, so I'm putting it on the backburner for now. I only have 4-5k words written for it anyways.

On the bright side, I'm sure many of you are going to be happy to hear that I'm working on getting a sequel to In Sheep's Clothing going. It'll be taking place over the same time frame as Celestia's Tiny Student, though I still plan on not making reading his story a prerequisite to my own, especially since the general tone of each story is different. While making a sequel means that it'll be fated to have a lower number of readers than my first story, I'm quite adamant on making it as accessible and stand-alone as possible.

I do still have dreams of authoring some big, explosively popular story, after all.

I've asked Commander for some of his notes, which I'm going to use as a sort of timeline for everything as well as fleshing out the source of the conflict. I'm still working on the set pieces, but I think I have a good basis to build the story off of. There will be lots of dark magic, incredibly sketchy excuses to have fun with time magic, and probably somepony being murdered. No ETA yet since I'm not sure how busy I'll be and I'm still in the planning phases.

Anyways, that's about it for now. Tentative title is In Retrospect. Be excited, BUT NOT TOO EXCITED OPTIMISM IS DANGEROUS.

Would you fill in the not-so-romantic (or one-side? I'm not sure) relationship between Overwatch and Steel in this sequel? I want to see from her perspective.

I'm going to see what I can fit in. I do want to add more development on Nymph's relationships with others. There'll be plenty more opportunities for interactions between the two this time around, though where it eventually ends up going is hard to say :P

Optimism is dangerous but I'm a believer

Really enjoyed In Sheep's Clothing, hope this sequel is still in the works!

I'm sad this appears dead.
