Okay, so here's how things sort of happened- I had most of chapter 2 for Ye Olde Equestrian (henceforth YOE) finished, and then I realized that I was skipping a crucial part in the story, which is normally not a good idea. So then I started writing the new chapter 2, say, about 7 or 8 PM Friday evening and got about half of it done. I've been busy most of this weekend, so when I finally got some time today I was all like " yeah, awesome, I'm gonna finish it by tonight!" And then about 300 words in I had an amazing idea for a horror story for EqD's contest. It's just so awesome, I can't NOT write it, so I've been blasting through that for most of today. I really love how its coming along; I don't want to jinx it or anything, but I think it will be pretty horrifying for all who dare read it. Plus, the 7/12ths that I have done for YOE: ch 2 are looking on the up and up too, so I'm pretty happy and all.
tl;dr- I'm halfway finished with both chapter two and chapter three of YOE, and I'm cranking out a horror story for the EqD contest.
