I know it's been quite awhile since you've seen or heard anything about Ponyville Pawn Stars. Some of you may have given up on waiting for that new episode I promised oh so many weeks ago. Bro, I feel your pain. I wish I had the time I once did have to keep up doing what I love and writing more of this fic, but life events keep demanding my attention. My college classes are only getting tougher and tougher, and the days I'm not at school I'm working to support my wife and two (soon to be three) children. And as if that weren't enough, my mother called earlier this week to tell me she's been diagnosed w/breast cancer.
Needless to say, my life has been stressful lately. But I'm doing my best to keep my head up and look forward to positive things. I'm looking forward to welcoming a new child into my life, and I'm hoping that the docs will have some better news for my mother next week. I'm also stoked about seeing the FiM season three premiere in three weeks, and about one day getting Episode Six out of the gate. Yes, I have been working on it w/whatever time I manage to scrape up. Usually it's an available half-hour or so before or in between classes Tuesdays and Thursdays that I have to write just a little bit of the chapter at a time. Right now I'm at about 7,000 words, w/probably between 1-2K left. So it's coming. I have leaving projects unfinished, so it's coming. With that being said, let me go ahead and spill a few beans.
Expect Applejack to get a deal of her own. I think the country mare has been a little neglected in the fandom lately, so I'm changing that with a whole episode about her trying to buy a high-ticket item. Also, expect Cranky to show up and show off his prowess as Ponyville's resident antique picker. I think a fanfic about Cranky in the style of History's American Pickers show could definitely work (anyone wanna get cracking on that?). Plus, expect Spike to come in selling something you may or may not have thought about before. And finally, I'm showing some love to the Gulf Coast Bronies Facebook group mascot Emerald Storm by giving her a cameo as well. Oh, and more shenanigans w/Derpy. Because muffins.

DERPY!!!!!! I don't care what sort of day I'M having but that is onepony that will ALWAYS be able to cheer me up and I'm having a really fucked up day, but yuor having it much worse bro. Still here for you, can't wait for the next chapter but seriously take your time, your loyal fans always have your back....and Derpy does as well because she's the most bad ass mare in Equestria damn it!
Yeesh dude, always remember this: Ponies are awesome but real life comes first. I for one hope the new kid has an easy time arriving (for everyone's sakes), your mom gets some better news, and that you kick the crap outta the college courses.
