All Good Things... · 1:14am Jan 1st, 2015
If you're reading this, you're probably one of the last people who have paid any attention to my little series for a long, long time. For that I applaud you. Bravo. Unfortunately, if you are said person, then you probably won't like what's coming next.
It's apparent that I haven't worked on my flagship story, Ponyville Pawn Stars, for several months. To avoid boring you with my life story, I'll just say that life happened. A lot of things have changed, but my love for writing hasn't. What you've been reading it's only the pony tip of the iceberg that is my life's work. Writing is in my blood. My writing is my life. There are so many ideas swimming in my head, pony and not, and I'm chomping at the bit to get them down on paper...or electrons.
I'm ready to forge ahead. My life at one point got really messed up, but I think I'm on a good path ahead of me. There's much chaos in my life, and it breaks me down from time to time. Most recently I was broken down to rock bottom, in a place where I never want to be again. Since then I've used my journaling as a tool to bring me back up slowly. Right now, I feel like Fimfiction.net is a big city, and I'm down in a manhole in the street peeking over the edge. Hi there. Miss me?
Now is I time to test the waters again and see where my streams of words will take me. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll take me in the direction of pony for quite some time. There are new ideas and other challenges ahead, none of which will be bringing me here anytime soon.
But still, I look back at the humble crew of the Silver Saddle Pawn Shop, and see that something is missing. Truth be told, I hadn't counted on leaving the story as it is. It needs a real ending. I left the stable door open, and I need to get back to the ranch and close it. Don't go nowhere, Cash, I'm a-comin'!
So there it is. One last episode, one last hurrah before turn off the lights and lock up for the night. What's it about? Not telling. When's it getting posted? When it's done. Trust me, friends, it's coming. Until then, everyone have a safe and happy new year. Catch you on the flipside.
Allons-y!
Hope to see it, and good luck.
