    Happy Pride, Everyone!!

Another June, another time for people to celebrate. But this isn't Pride Month. This is Pride Lifetime, Pride Existence that we're celebrating. Even when the corporations put away the rainbow flags and hollow sentiments, that doesn't mean you should pause your awareness, your support and your experience as well. Make every day colorful, fab and, above all else, full of love.

So yeah, Space Wars Day or whatever

Honestly I've been checked out on Star Wars for a long time: longer than before the new trilogy came around to sour it even further. I mean I technically still write Star Wars, though it's nothing that can be accepted by any ol' fan. For one thing, the Ssi-Ruuk are regularly represented, and another is that they're not presented as their original selves. Still a shame they're so under-utilized in

    Positive Vibes

So something curious has just happened: I just got done watching the South Park Post-Covid two part special, and it has put me in a very positive and hopeful mindset. Yeah: South Park of all things giving me the feel-goods. Like legitimate fuzzies about things working out.

Yume Nikki: Origins · 2:44am Nov 16th, 2017

Seemed some (or at least one) of you enjoyed my post regarding my weird-ass Trump dream. Well it turns out that wasn't my most vivid dream to date, and certainly not my first. Oh no, there's been one that's remained fresh in my mind since my sophomore year of college, back in 2009. So I figure I may as well share it as well, as it is one of the most bizarre things I've ever thought up, and something that never fails to befuddle and amuse those whom I tell. Therefore, I shall relate it to you anon.

It's a British news show, and a female anchor reports that Simon Pegg has been found dead in his London flat by the police. Authorities discovered his decapitated body sitting in a recliner, whereas his severed head was tucked in the corner of the room with a dozen bottle rockets crammed into the neckhole. The anchor goes on to report that recently, Pegg had starred in viral video where he beat up random dudes in a park while dressed up like a Scottish bagpipe player. She ends by saying that the primary suspect of the murder is a guy who's seen in the background of the video doing the same thing as Pegg but being completely ignored. That's where the dream ends, but I know that isn't the murderer and the true culprit is unknown.

I cannot begin to explain how this came about; it was just so weird, especially with how dry and stoic the anchor was in detailing these horrific facts, like it was part of some dark comedy. Actually that's essentially what it was, given the ridiculous circumstances. So yeah, dunno what that meant for my early 20's psyche, or if this is something I should share with Pegg himself or some film exec to have made into a movie. I'm really more impressed that I still remember it so clearly after nearly a decade. Just one of those things.

I'm glad you think so! Who knows: maybe one dark, sleepless night I may decide to put actual thought and development into this and flesh me up a proper story. God, that'll be a crazy undertaking.
