Status Updates - Yes, it's Good News! · 8:42pm Oct 8th, 2017
I know, fashion horse, I'm excitted too.
Hello all! I've been terribly silent since I present you with such awful news that ER251 was being put on an temporary hiatus. I apologize for my lack of communications, but I want you all to know that things are going much better than they were.
In short, I am pleased to announce that ER251 will return this winter in December of this year.
Currently, I am writing chapter 7. That means chapters 4, 5, and 6 are currently on standby for Autumnschild to review and edit three chapters. However, he is extremely busy with his own life, and work during the fall season. Due to his job, there are a lot of things he needs to get ready for Amazon's tech conference thing that they have, and that dictates most, if not all of his time during these months. Autumn is a critical part of this story's success and I can't trust anyone else to be the ER251 primary editor. We've built the Birthdayverse together, and there are things; details, background stories, sub-plots, etc, that only he and I know. So the story can't really progress unless I have him here too. So until his work is completed, ER251 chapters will wait.
Now, that's not what caused the original hang up that lead to the long update spaces and eventual hiatus. That was entirely me being absolutely frustrated with the story, my writing abilities, and time that I just struggled to give to the story and the fandom. It got so bad that I wanted to give it all up, and if it wasn't for Autumnschild, I very much would have.
Until that time, other stories, and art projects will continue until then. Maybe the next ER251 update will also have a new, original (not related to the Birthdayverse) story that month too.
So, thank you all for your patience with me, and I apologize for such a critically long delay in everything. I hope everything is now figured out and can continue smoothly.
Ohh, one more thing! Keep an eye out later this month for a Halloween blog where I will share some of my favorite horror stories on the site with you.
