*cracks neck and back

I am still ungodly tired. 2020 took a lot out of me, enough that I had to step back from many, many things. All of my hobbies, friends, work on my home, even school and working on my Master's had to be forced to take a seat in the back as I tried to deal with things. Unfortunately, FiMfiction was one of those things that I had to step back from in order to try and make it through the year. I had no idea what I was going to recover and there were times I doubted my ability to be able to return here. Until now, I do want to keep working on my stories. I'm sorry for being gone so long.

What happened? Well...

I got Covid twice. Lots of fun. I don't think I've ever been as sick. Had a bit of a reaction to the vaccines as well. I left the hospital I was working at at the end of 2020 and moved to a new hospital which is presenting its own set of challenges and difficulties. Like everyone trying to figure out how things are working. My personal and family life imploded a lot as well. That's a horrible mess that... well, I'm trying to move past it, but basically a lot of shit happened with a business my wife and her dad use to run that basically has us left with the pieces and fallout while he's safe on the other side of the country and we're disowning her parents. The silver lining is that we do have a child on the way, found out back in December 2020 for sure, can't wait for that. We're actually planning an induction on Sunday.

I basically got stressed out and was not in a good place anymore. I turned to therapy which, honestly at first I did;t believe in therapy. I respected the people who went to go do it but always thought "yeah man, no. That's not how I roll". I was an idiot. I'm pretty sure I didn't come out of this unscarred but I have yet to determine the damage done as we are still going to therapy and haven't gotten out of these stressors yet.

As for updates on my works, I don't have anything solid. I need to go find my notes, get back into the spirit of things, find out if Autumnschild is still alive and kicking ass.
