She's looking at you. Yes you. And she is judging you with her eyes. There is no escape.

    It's late

But my brain isn't quiet. I'm stoned out of my goddamn gourd. Don't worry, it is just my usual regimen of drugs. That's how I spent a lot of my time now. Wasted. Doesn't really help with the pain much, but makes it a bit more tolerable. All of my drugs cost over 5 grand a month. That's what it takes to keep me going. I'm in somewhat better shape because of all of it, and there's a few bright

    Cyborgification is potentially a-go

Finally found a doctor that didn't run screaming upon seeing my spine images and xrays. The team is coming together. Met with the neurosurgeon the other day, and he thinks I am an ideal candidate for augmentation. The transition is happening, I think. I still have to pass a psych evaluation and other steps, but I am closer now than ever. First I'll have the trial run; they'll sink electrodes into

I suppose it is time for an update

Been meaning to this, and I've become the King of Pro-Crasty Nation. I kept wanting to report, but there was nothing to report, no good news at all, so I just... didn't. Sorry. Went a bit silent on my end. It just sorta happened.

I finally got a lawyer willing to take up my case. After that, things started happening.

A fair warning · 3:23am Sep 29th, 2017

A major twist is coming in, Together, They Fight Crime.

If you've been paying attention, it won't seem so much like a major twist as it will a logical outcome. I am positive that some folk will be thrown for a loop, while others will rub their chins and say, "Oh. That. I see."

People get pissed off at me for introducing mind-fronking plot twists in a story and then saying I did so with no foreshadowing, no warning, that I just made stuff up on the fly: and that's just not true. I would just like an opportunity to state that this one was planned right up front and I can't wait to drop the next chapter. I'm excited. Like, Rainbow Dash levels of excited.

Stuff is gonna go down.

Azure moonlights as the Easter Bunny. We all knew it all along.

“Hey, baby... want your plot twisted?”

<SMACK!> “FRESH!”

“Ow! I was tawking abouf yer shtowry, nof yer rump!”

:derpytongue2:

That is really fairly excited.

So you mean you gave some clues to this eventual reveal of a twist, and expect that some missed the hints. It happens, and them being upset is ego defense. An irrational but understandable reaction.

That said ... what did Tarnish say to the harvester-bots in Skyreach when they reached that elevator shaft?
