Well, I didn't want it to come to this, but I guess of no longer have a choice.
As you've probably noticed, it's taking me a lot longer to release the latest chapter of MIA. I am sad to report that it will take even longer then I thought, and because of this I am officially putting the story on hiatus. This means that I will not be able to write, much less edit, any new portions of the story.
Before I go on I need to make one thing perfectly clear: I am NOT cancelling this story. It will be finished. I am just taking a break from writing for a month or two.
I was hoping to wait until I released chapter 8 before doing this but I don't think that'll happen. I just don't have any time to write anymore. I'm currently in my senior year of high school and right now college applications are coming up. Coupled with APs, SATs, extra curricular activities, and school trips and I'm completely swamped. What little time I do have to myself I rarely want to use to write. As such, I will not be updating until mid-December, where hopefully summer break will give me enough time to finish a few chapters.
Thank you for being so patient with me, and I hope you understand.

Sure, take your time.
I won't be going anywhere.
But no, like 393808 said you've got to have your priorities straight.
In other news hiatus is swiftly becoming my least favourite word.
Considering that the biggest problem with this post was that I had forgotten about the whole of the southern hemisphere... All is good in the world!![:rainbowwild:](https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/rainbowwild.png)
Believe me when I say that the overwhelming workload never ends. I have been in college for about five weeks now, and I have written a grand total of maybe 1,100 words of my next chapter. And I have been averaging 15,000 words a chapter for a while.
So do not feel bad about taking your time. I certainly feel a little better now.
SENIORS UNITE!!!!!! But seriously dude it's cool I got that AP and stuff too so I know the feels. Carry on fellow member of the Class of 2013

Ah, but the beauty of December is that I shall have until early February of vacations, thus allowing me to focus on the story. Plus, next semester college applications will be sent so I'm gonna be swimming in study hall periods and easy A classes. Perfect for me to finish the story and work on the next ones. I actually finished the first chapters of two other stories and I hope to have more time to work on them, but don't worry, MIA gets priority.
Hi gravity,
Enjoyed your story. Take as much time as you need.
