Potential ER250 and ER251 Updates · 12:59am Feb 14th, 2017
Did you know ER250 was originally suppose to be four chapters long? That Blueblood was never a villain, or involved? That Rarity was suppose to attend the Birthday Parade as the guest of honor instead of riding in it? Nightmare Rarity was suppose to be there? That I shipped Luna and Rarity way too hard at some point?
I love deleted scenes. I think they are neat, sometimes they had things that just didn't work for the story, or could have added something special to it. Sometimes a deleted scene and turned into an extended version of the film, made it a better movie, aka I am Legend. Other times, there was an entirely different story going on behind, like Zootopia.
I have several "deleted scenes" of ER250 and ER251. Some of them are from the editing floor, others are just alternate versions of scenes, and some were removed because the story was going in a different direction. I came across a few of these because I had several unused beginnings of ER251 Chapter 4 that I was looking through and came across a few GDoc's worth of stuff. I don;t know why I kept them, much of the information has either been scrapped or the bigger stuff reworked into the story. So I was thinking it would be fun to add a 'deleted scenes chapter' to ER250, and every once and a while to ER251 (After chapter 4 would be the soonest, but would get additional chapters every so often).
What do you think? Would you be interested in a 'deleted scenes' chapter for ER250 and ER251?

It's always a pleasure to see your latest work, and getting an inside scoop on one or two of my all time favorite stories would be lovely.
Yes; but you should maybe post it as a separate story (Empress Rarity's Supplementary Materials) so that it doesn't break the flow of the stories.

You can make it so that chapters organize themselves dynamically and always stay at a certain position.

Hmm... I don't think I want to do a separate story for deleted scenes. For ER250 I was thinking of having the deleted scenes at the end of the story, something like "Bonus Content: Deleted Scenes" as the title and a disclaimer about how all of the scenes are non-canon. But for ER251, it might be too jarring to the plot flow to have a 'deleted scenes' chapter every four or five chapters and that might just get held until the end.
