Hey all,
Hope things are going well with you all.
I spent the better part of last night typing up a bit of the slow going stories of Flint Hearth. I got two thousand words in and reread what I had, and thought it was sooo boring.
I was an attempting to show where the character was and give a view of his inner turmoil and blah blah blah.
I think I am gonna pitch what I have and get to the meat of the story. Something is about to happen to him that will change how he looks at his new life and bring the story to a close. This is my goal, to see this story through.
My pledge to you all is this- starting tonight, before I touch my PS4, I'm gonna spend at least an hour on Dragon King. Feel free to hold me accountable to this and make sure I do via message or whatever.
Lastly, I am looking to the future with this character. I have ideas but I would love to hear yours!

Do you intend to have Flint as a character in another story? Or a sequel? It's strange to say that if you were going to end the story relatively soon otherwise.

It would be cool to have some kind of resolution with Celestia, or at least meet her...
4335645 I had some ideas. Most of them revolve around him being older like a teen or young adult.
Playing with one idea, mostly for fun, but it's a seventh Element story.
I getting Flint Hearth into trouble one more time, to push him into a debate with himself would be nice. the trouble that I see is that Flint doesn't seem to have much incentive to "want" do much of anything for himself and isn't really challenged to overcome anything at the moment. I like the reveal of the new sibling that is coming and his fascination about the subject. I wander if he will find himself forced to have a pet or something of the sort. For what I can see, Celestia and Lune are still linked to Flint, and they will have to met each other to have a real resolution to the story. I wander in what way is Dinky linked to Flint if she can access to his dreams like that.
