What's up everypony?
So before I get into this, I just want to say thank you to all who participated in this contest. When I first thought of the idea to host a contest, I was thinking that it was going to be a bust with only 1-3 entries. But I must say that even though there are only 9 official entries, the decision to pick just 5 was truly difficult to make. I truly wish that I was able to pick more than that. Each one of them were impressive.
But unfortunately, 5 is the max for a space on my profile. So with that said, these are the five that I truly felt were the best. Please note that if your story is not among these, it doesn't mean that I didn't like it. I truly enjoyed reading each entry.

Coming in 5th place, we have.....

This story was beautifully written about a pegasus who, after having acquired magical fire powers after falling into a volcano, accidentally gives his fiance severe burns to which she unfortunately succumbs to. After leaving town in a literal fireball due to his emotional status, he finds himself in the badlands. From there, he chooses to go where no pony dares to go. Tartarus.
I won't give away the whole story. If you choose to find out more, then give the author your support by reading his work. I promise that you won't be disappointed. The characterization of all involved is fantastic. You can really feel the emotion of each scene from the beginning to the end. I'm very happy to have read this story.

In this story, we have Rainbow Dash who is very excited about seeing the movie that all comic book fans have been wanting to see. Nightbat v Stellerman: Dawn of Honor. Despite hearing negative reviews from fellow comic book fans and reviewers, she insists on seeing it with her friends. But once the movie is over, her friends all have mixed feelings about it with Rainbow being the only one of them that enjoyed it. But before everything gets out of hand, they all decide to calm down and talk about each aspect of the movie and what was good and what was bad.
Again, I won't give away the whole story. If this interests you, then show your support by giving it a look for yourself. I truly enjoyed this story. It made me laugh. It had quite a few points that I myself had thought about, and I can definitely see this happening if it was an actual thing. The characterization was spot on for everyone. From Rainbow's behavior after learning her friends didn't enjoy it to Sunset being the one that calms everyone down. The references and creative parodies for each of the real movie characters and other things were enjoyable. Just like the story above, I was very happy to have read this story. I'd also recommend it to anyone.

If you are in need of a chuckle, yet not wanting to read a long story, then this is the story for you. In this one, we find everyone's favorite taco loving siren standing in the middle of town for hours. What is she waiting for? And why is she just staring? To find out, you must dare to look into this affair.
This story was the first one that was submitted. Literally a day after announcing the competition, this story was created. Talk about speed! Couple it with the fact that this story would make Dr. Seuss proud with the amount of creative rhymes. This story gave me a laugh and I'm sure it will give you one as well.

A Photo Worth A Thousand Words

Ah. I had a feeling someone would submit an "Erotica Girls" style story. And what a story this is. In this, we have Anon who is looking for his camera only to find it being used to capture some special photos of his crush, Photo Finish. After a deep conversation, Anon agrees to help her create "zhe magicks". But in a way that both of them will enjoy.
I was happy when I finished reading this. I could never have pulled off an "Erotica Girls" story involving Photo Finish in the way that Slam did. I definitely would've had much trouble with getting her accent down. But I'm glad to see that Slam was up to the challenge. Want to know more about this story? Read it. You won't be disappointed.
And finally. In 1st place, we have.....

Here we have a special story as told by the two ponies that love to create music, Vinyl Scratch and Octavia Melody. This story offers a unique perspective into how they met, what their relationship is like, and even gives an introduction to a special character. I truly enjoyed reading it because the way both Vinyl and Octavia were written felt exactly like what they are. If you have plenty of time to kill and want to read something filled with romance, I'd definitely recommend this to you.
So that concludes the 1,000 follower story contest. Congratulations to these authors for winning. And to those who didn't, I still enjoyed your stories all the same. They were all wonderful and a pleasure to read. But just like all competitions, some have won and some unfortunately have lost. But in the end, we have 9 wonderful stories that can be shared with everypony as a result from this.
