    Writing Commissions

So this is a subject I've been mulling over for some time now, and at this point it's just time to say screw it and announce that I'm tentatively opening up writing commissions.

I want to say this is for a nobler reason like forcing myself to become a better writer or looking to hone my craft, but I'd be lying.

    Moving Day!

Nothing super important to see here. Just posting a heads up that I'm moving to a new apartment and that I'll be without internet for a few days. Still working on words, and hopefully I'll have internet in time to submit my entry in Oroboro's contest.

Oh, Yeah... I Guess I Could Do a Blog or Something

A few days late, but I've been on this site for 4 years. It's been fun, honestly.

Also, I'm still breathing, still depressed, and still sleep deprived, so I guess those are things too.

State of the Human, February 2018

The month of love is well upon us at this point. I imagine there will be a large number of shipping stories hitting us soon, so that's kinda neat.

I Did a Thing that I'm Kinda Proud and Ashamed of

You know, if you had asked me on Thursday what I'd be doing for the weekend, I could have guaranteed the answer wouldn't have included spending Friday night writing a story about bake-it-yourself sexual tutorials. Nor would it have included naming anything a Cupcanus. But guess who ended up doing exactly that?

Me. It was me. Feel free to be ashamed of me.

Today Was a Good Day · 1:19am Sep 25th, 2016

I've written roughly four-thousand words today. Two grand on the newest chapter posted to The Single Life, another thousand on the next one, and then a few hundred on a few other stories.

If I'm being honest, I've become somewhat enamored with The Single Life. The story's dug it's hooks into me in a different way than most stories I've done. Most of them I'm gung-ho on, work super hard on them for a bit, and then realize there's some sort of fatal flaw that makes me dislike the story or I just lose focus.

With The Single Life, its different. Rather than being super gung-ho, I've been methodical. I've planned most of the work before penning any of it. I've planned and developed characters that won't show up for a number of chapters. If I'm being completely honest, I've already got a rough idea of where the story ends as well, barring a sudden change of heart.

And I've turned this into a bit of a rant. Shit. I was trying to avoid that. Ah well. Until next time, fellow humans.
