HELLO people and ponies (few as there are) of the internet!
Personally, I dislike these types of posts because the bum me out... but mostly because I don't know who they're talking about, and have no reason to care (and feel wrong sending someone half-hearted love), so I feel like a jerk, then I get bummed... But if I relate it to you, then anyone who feels like me won't have a problem!
So, the original author of "What the Frick?!?" is dealing with some personal junk right now. I don't know him IRL, so I don't know the whole story. But it is CRYSTAL clear, he's dealing with depression. Like REALLY bad. Normally, I'd make a joke about emos and stuff, but it really doesn't feel right here.
Look, I'm not gonna lie, the first few chapters he wrote of "What the frick" SUCK. BUT, he improved a TON after. Like, he's one of my favorite writers, not only on this site, but in general! (Just wish I liked most of his concepts as much... although,) He's taken some concepts I'd never have read otherwise, and when I gave them a chance really impressed me. I wish I could come up with the quality he can achieve on a regular basis! ... Not sure why I thought that was relevant...
Enough about his writing, and more about him. He posted a blog with the story of his life, and a follow-up with recent events. Read that if you want to, but right now, if you read "What the Frick" and liked it, ESPECIALLY the first 8 chapters, then go to Username Unkown and send some love! I mean, that's what we do right? Spread kindness, good will, and friendship? If you didn't read "What the frick" and have no idea what I'm talking about, then that's fine. I can't ask you to go give a virtual hug to a random user. Personally, I'd think that someone would just be doing it out of pity, but if you DO go, try to say something meaningful and different.
