ER251 Progress Update · 2:21am Aug 24th, 2016
Well, good news first. ER251 Chapter 3 has been sent to Autumnschild, who is planning on getting on it tomorrow. As soon as he is done and I am able to give it a good review, the story will be updated. The editing should go smoothly (knock on wood) since a good third of it was originally suppose to be the beginning of the last chapter, but was cut due to length. That piece was still important, so it was placed into Chapter 3, and it had already been edited. So here is to a good editing run!
I've got Chapters 4 and 5 under construction as well. 4 is more complete than 5 and then I run into a couple of problems. The first of which is the pacing. I can't remember if I have said this yet, but there are four story lines within ER251. It's complicated to judge who gets what page time and when within chapters. Rarity and Twilight no doubt have the most, and more pressing matters to deal with. But you do have a longer game being played and characters who still have yet to be re-introduced into this story, like Blueblood, Commander Onyx, and Shining Star. There is also the decision if there will be some sort of sequel to this story or if this book will simply have two arcs in it. This story is basically the mice playing while the cats are away. Something is going to happen that will not only set the tone for the next story/arc, but have a major impact with a Princess Twilight Sparkle's 505th character, and set the floor for a ER510.
I do have more to say, but I want to go write some more right now. Keep an eye open, there will be more news from me later on.
ER510? Interesting. Assuming Twilight and Rarity are roughly the same age, would this be a bit of a follow-up on the events of 505th?

Rarity is about 507 or 508 in PTS505, but I can't remember what Autumnschild and me agreed on, exactly, just that she is older.
Yes, it would be a bit of a follow up on the events of PTS505. But there are also ending events of PTS25 that work into the story as well, particularly one character that get introduced at the end of that story.

I do hope to see more side stories and see what's changed with certain characters since the last birthday like that Dash pony and maybe a bit of that Crystal Heart pony who always seems to have something to say about something. Shame that's only possible in the subconscious realm of Rarity's mind I guess... though who knows what this game will add. :p
Anyhow, all sounds good, just feed us words we're starving!
By the wat Is there going to be a new Twilight 505 or something? I guess I'll have to wait and see what yyou mean by effect Twilight.
I'm excited to see how new things are introduced in the sorta prequel/sequel, a difficult but hopefully rewarding task. And I'm just very excited to see more of this world and it's characters. Can't wait!
