The only constant in our world is change. Someone said that, I think.
Someone also said that specialization is for insects. And that's something I also agree with at times. Really, what I'm trying to say is that I'm done with ponies for now.
It's been a long time since I started writing. Since then I've written numerous stories, mostly in the dark or comedy genres. And it was fun for a while.
But like everything else, I eventually got tired of writing stories with the same characters, the same world. And there's also a limit to how much I'm willing to write for a small audience. I appreciate every--well, most of the users who have read my stories and commented on them, but this is still only a fraction of the world that might ever read my stories.
I'm not going into details. If you really wanted to read my train of thought you can check out Horizon Runner's blog post where he decides to do the same thing. Fimfiction is nice, but it's not a place for those who want to become novelists or go on to do anything larger.
Anyways, I wanted to finish Until the End before I called it quits. And now that I'm done...I'm on to another story. Yep.
From ponies I've gone to writing my own stories, not about ponies. Thus, I can't really be on this site. Maybe some day I'll be back to finish some of the plotlines I've picked up, but for now I'm writing on. I hope to see your comments again sometime.

Good luck on your future endeavours! Your decision is perfectly understandable, seeing that FIMFiction, as large as it has grown, isn't exactly a literary heaven.
