A few things.

First, a reminder for those of you who might be reading my dailies (and that includes this one), they are meant to be dailies, now. So that means if I miss a day, then expect the day before or after to make up for it (or "buffer," so to speak) with extra-extra installments. This is what transpired over the last forty-eight hours, seeing as I came home from a full July Fourth shift with a clinical case of "fucking tired." Appledashery fans should be quite used to this. I'd apologize, but... f'naaaa... insert Jontron macro.

Now... in less stuck-up news:

The all-around awesome renaissance pegasister Obabscribbler has put up a dayum fine studio-quality live reading of Dulcet, which went up back in 2014. This was done with the assistance of many smexy voice actors, including herself, DaWillstanator, Emogak, KayVox, and LillyLeafVA. It's super flattering to hear a horse fic of mine be given such awesometastical treatment... especially when it's not even based on an idea I originated. Eenope, you can blame Propmaster for that.

I actually had a chance to listen to this recording a month in advance. No, not because I'm SS&E, but because I donate to Obabscribbler's Patreon account... which can be found here. Talk about a hard-working lemurette. She puts out waaaaaaay more stuff in way more categories than I'll ever dream to. If you wanna get samples of her stuff ahead of time, consider throwing some bits her way. It goes the distance--for realsies, that Dulcet recording is like a dayum radio show. Crazy stuff.

Meanwhile, nearer to the dark side of the plane:

Is it bad when I can stand to claim that this isn't the first or even second (or even third) time that someone's written a brony song based on my written shiet? F'naaaa.

Once again, someone puts me to shame with their talent. I really like the sound of the vocals on this. I'd pay to have this person wail against a retro synthpop track or something.

This person is Silver Note, someone of snazzy musical skills, evidently, and no stranger to doing stuff within the poni poni poni scene. So check out their youtube page for horse harmonies galore.

Also, to note, that pic featured in that youtube clip is a map of the lands visited in Austraeoh Book One, as drawn/designed by Sinrar and then consequently colored by Swan Song. You can see the "most recent incarnation" of the map (Books 1 - 7) here. Yeah... that's where three million words will get you.

It's July. The weather's purgatorial. It's storming. Screaming kids are off from school. Alligators are out and about.

...should I go to Disney on Friday?

Is that even a legit question?

~Skeeter The Lurker

Do it. Do it and smite the wicked gator-people.

Holy crud, if I got my maths right, that picture is smaller than the text.:pinkiegasp:

Or a simila size once Frostknife and the Twilight lands are added to the image. :twilightsheepish:

shite that map

This is now my favorite song. I shall sear it into my brain hole.

Hey that Eastward song is pretty cool sounding. I don't like the voices in those other three, but I am INSANELY picky when it comes to music in a way no one else I've ever met is.

Funny, a song based on your words, Space is a Waste, is a competitor for my favorite song.

4071421 Legit rhetorical question, maybe.

The main question is....does it still rain at 4 PM on the dot everyday?

Silver Note never disappoints.

Over four years in the fandom, and I still come across stuff that gives me goosebumps. I love all you friggin insane horse people so much it's crazy.

Not to mention variations of a certain Nocturne discovered by a specific pony.

4072535 Horse community is best community. We love you too! Glad you like the song

SS&E! You are an awesome writer, I always love your stories and characters, and couldn't help but work on a tribute in the medium I know best. Keep up the amazing work, it always makes me smile :)
